A very consistent brunch place here in Hayes. Parking will be hard if you're not from around here, so try to look on some streets a block or two away and work outwards. There are lots of tables here so usually you don't need a reservation and can still get seated. Prices are expensive but thats called 2022.Focaccia bread is FIRE and the salad is FIRE and the pizza and pasta are FIRE so yeah. Have fun!!

Very busy / vibrant. Dishes were solid. The focaccia was great.

Rigatoni: 4/5 It was delicious, the ragu was seasoned perfectly and the meat came in bite sized chunks and was so tender.I personally do not like my pasta al dente, the rigatoni was cooked throughout but not soft so it was perfect for me.Panna Cotta: 4/5 really good, creamy, simple panna cotta.Chocolate Budino: 4/5 also really good, not too sweet and enjoyed the hazelnut bits.

A little overrated, but it’s in a cute area and has great outdoor dining.I got the spring salad with chicken (which was dry). The buratta and lemon oil mushrooms with bread was delicious. My sister got the pasta, which was pretty good.

a Mano is your neighborhood chic Italian restaurant that you see happy couples dining in. Or old friends who wanted to catch up over a weekend lunch.Service was sufficient, heat lamps outside, really nice patio vibe. The pasta was for sure the star of the show (pizza cheese was too)!-Fresh rigatoni with early girl tomatoes and basil = tomato cream sauce, $17-Margherita pizza, $15-Focaccia with olive tapenade, $7All we tried were delicious and came out with good portions! This was our first visit to a Mano in Hayes Valley, overall was a delightful experience, would recommend it!

classic italian restaurant in hayes, try the duck liver mousse

The atmosphere was amazing, and absolutely loved the mushroom pizza and porchetta. However the waiter had an ego attitude and made it awkward to talk to as I felt being judged when I ask about items I didn't know on the menu.

Ended up at A Mano on a very spontaneous Wednesday evening. Outdoor seating was full and indoor a handful of diners at 6:30 pm. Service was good, food is GREAT and the olive oil, lemon gelato dessert is a MUST TRY! I would go back even just for the dessert! On other dishes:- Local squid appetizer is really nice. Quite a surprise with the pairing of butter beans and pepper. The squid was sweet and perfectly grilled.- Pizza mergherita with prosciutto is good. The prosciutto was top quality and not too slaty.- Pasta calameretti (type of pasta shape) with mussles and clams is flavorful and aldente. The calameretti was a bit too “chewy” for me however I know this tends to be the case when cooking pasta w rounded edges al dente.Overall an amazing spontaneous dinner! Definitely would go back to try theri lunch menu.

Delicious cocktails and great people watching

Had wonderful cocktails with spouse and friend including a black Manhattan, and wines. Beet salads followed by a wonderful thin crust pizza and pastas, one ravioli and the other pancetta pasta were delicious But the toppers was the lemon olive oil cake and chocolate budino. Absolutely scrumptious.
