Great food, reasonably priced, nice owners. A wonderful addition to the neighborhood. We get takeout regularly.

Our favorite Indian restaurant, period. The samosas and pakoras, the chicken achari, the vindaloo, the lamb korma, the mango lassis - I can go on - it's all delicious. Try everything. Plus, the owners and staff are the best! We love A Desi!

Fantastic food. Great selection of everything you would want including chicken, lamb and vegetarian. The garlic Naan is a must and the desserts and drinks all contribute well. Service was best I've had in a while. Great local joint.

Tried for the first time today, they changed the prices from the pictures on google (everything a dollar more). Food wasn’t especially good, Chicken Tikka had too much tomato and saagwalla not enough spinach wasn’t really what I had in mind. Roti was also too thick for me.

THE GARLIC NAAN IS AMAZING! OH MY GOODNESS! You HAVE to have the garlic naan. You just have to have it. Great customer service and the best Indian food in San Francisco.

Was there again yesterday and I still love this place. Delicious, inexpensive, and the people that work there are always lovely.

This is one of our regular takeouts. Good food and very friendly owner.

Very fresh, innovative. A nice departure from the generic, Swanson's-Frozen-Indian-dinner approach of so many Northern Indian restaurants. The show where a sizzling blackened whole trout, and saag paneer that was so much more recognizably spinach than any other versions of the dish I've ever had. Will be my go-to Indian spot.

Awesome staff, great food.

Family-run super delicious Indian food not far off the beaten path on sunset/Golden gate Park. I would recommend any and everything on the menu, but butter chicken is my favorite.Just be prepared the spice level is definitely above average for my Caucasian taste buds. Having a runny nose and runny eyes due to spice did not stop me from gobbling up my meal. The wait for even a four person meal order took less than 15 minutes on a Saturday night.
