My experience at Carrillo's was good. Me and my friend dined in and my experience was ok. We ate so much and it was real good. I ate so much. We ate tamales and beans and rice and chips with salsa.
VERY LARGE PORTIONS & Decent Prices, they also have a variety of beers ? However they were all out of what I went for, Chilli Relleno, which is why I decided to give them a try. I got the George Lopez burrito with chicken and the whole thing, including the chicken was completely flavorless. Salsa was way too mild as well. More like American-Mexican food. Be SURE you call in your order ahead of time if you're picking it up. It is all made fresh and take a while!

The food is great the service is horrible. This place does not know how to get organized in terms of getting their food out in a timely manner. I’ve ordered ahead of time once two hours ahead to make sure the food was ready since I get 30 mins for lunch both times I have wasted my time and have waited over 45 mins to get a simple order of tacos.

I love their albondigas. Drove all the way from San Diego just to grab some ? I ordered some tamales to go too. I'm sure they won't disappoint.

I got the George Lopez Supreme Burrito. This thing is gigantic! Comes as a wet style burrito, packed with your choice of meat, beans, rice, and lettuce and sour cream(which comes on the side). Also, it comes with a drink, already fixed into the price, you cannot get the burrito without the drink, or at least the price won't change. The burrito is a bit pricey but absolutely worth it, seriously this burrito is huge. A definite must try.
