I enjoy this place because the people are very friendly and you can sit out front in the shaded area with many tables available or take your food out. The coffee is really good and I am particularly fond of the pastrami sandwich. Everything looks good, however, but I'm a Johnny One Note when it comes to the pastrami. I'm fortunate to live close to this which allows for frequent visits.

This place is pretty good. There is a lot of seating outside and when the weather is nice, it turns out to be a great place to enjoy brunch.Their food is pretty good. A manageable variety.I have it 5 stars because this past Sunday when we had brunch, I ordered the avocado toast, a norm for me, and they used older avocado’s. You know what I mean, when the green turns to a gray shade of black. We tried tied to take it back and the guy said the avocado was ripe. Yes, we understood what a ripe avocado looks like, but the slices you gave us was more than several hours old.Honestly, we I would normally give a rating of 1-3 stars. But out of the 5 times we have been there, this is the only time we had a issue.

Your cafe is marvelous and I will continue to visit from time to time, but I want to go there more often--I really do--because I live within walking distance. However, I have some suggestions to possibly improve the food experience. You have the best quality boars head meats, but check out another bread supplier. The croissants are not fresh and flaky (go eat at Grand Donuts in LaVerne) and the scones taste more like biscuits (Starbucks has you beat there). Also, your meatless meals could use a little more flavor--maybe a sharper cheese. Also, it might be interesting to change "breakfast" and "lunch" descriptions to "light breakfast" or "light lunch". I agree with the reviews that mention going in for food and leaving hungry. And the cost of those items should leave you feeling satisfied. Again, just some suggestions, but thanks for your small business and serving the neighborhood!

Great little Cafe with very friendly staff... I was here on a Friday late morning and it was busy even then.I got the turkey sandwich and it was easily one of the best turkey sandwiches I have ever hadThe fruit side was also fresh and sweet.Great little placeIf I was to change anything it would be to ask them to get a better refrigerator for their drinks.I'll definitely be back

Great service and very tasty food. I ordered the wake up #1 with some fresh squeezed orange juice and my partner ordered a full prosciutto panini and a chai latte. Both orders come with bite sized pieces of orange and strawberries. Overall a good tasting brunch spot to enjoy!

Loved this place! The food was so fresh and the service was great. I will definitely be back! We sat outside which was perfect, but if you're expecting to sit inside it's very limited.

Nice little place on the corner of the street. Went while it was raining but it was still cozy inside. (Indoor seating only has three tables) Nice employees, big selection but not overwhelming, and the food was good.

The best thing about this place, for me, is the ambiance. It's a cute little cafe in Downtown San Dimas. Just around the corner from the historic part of downtown, Rail Side Cafe is adjacent to modern tract homes, which gives the cafe an element of sophistication with a hometown feel. The staff are always very friendly and helpful, and they won't rush you out. I've spent hours on a leisurely Sunday enjoying the atmosphere. As for their menu, it is not big, but the food is good. It's a little pricey for a cafe, but it's worth the experience.

Great food, coffee, service, outdoor patio seating and atmosphere!
