We are staying in an RV park in Pomona and one of the campers who lives in the area recommended La Villa Kitchen.They geeated us when we walked in and had chips and salsa at our table in short order.My wife ordered the carnitas and I ordered the fish in ranchero sauce. Their meals come with a salad which was nice and crisp.They cooked my fish perfectly but the ranchero sauce was bland and seemed like it might have come out of a canMy wife's carnitas were very dry and tough and had no flavor.The food was just ok so we would not go back.

I tried the lunch combination plate which was a chicken enchilada, beans, and rice. All were cooked perfectly with a lot of flavor. The chips and salsa were a hit as well. We're going to go back next Tuesday for Taco Tuesday after 4 pm.
Ok, so to start--- we had excellent service, but the following is my review of this mexican restaurant, the first thing we tasted was the tortilla chips, they were subpar, not what I would call mexican authentic tortilIa chips--- I ordered an enchilada and what I got it was basically a corn tortilla rolled with chicken inside and some red sauce served on top---I never had an enchilada like this before in any other mexican restaurant, the chile relleno was super greasy, not expecting this at all, also the rice had no flavor whatsoever, beans were Ok I guess. another member of my party ordered hard shell tacos and were also not what was expected-- strange food for an "authentic" mexican restaurant- as I lived in the Southern and Northern regions of Mexico for 14 years, and i Southern California for that many, I apologize for appearing to be rude but I am so sorry to say, I did not find anything authentic regarding the food in this restaurant. I have no complaints with the service and cleanliness of the place at all and the location is great for me, as I live only a few minutes from here. I hope and wish they would hire a better chef so that I can return and take my staff here.
I love this restaurant I always have the same thing small bowl of abondigas , beef tacos sooo good oh enjoy the chips n salsa
