Zinqué is my favorite spot to go in Little Italy to enjoy a chill meal for brunch or dinner at a bar with a great food selection and cool people (like, the staff there is great and the other customers are a solid crowd on a regular basis, too). I recently moved away from the area, but I plan to return here every few weeks or so just to see how the place is doing. There's a wall of great wine selections, the bartenders know their stuff (shout out to Von and Shawn -- apologies if I'm ruining the spelling, fellas), and the food is *chef's kiss*. Plus the music is ALWAYS on point. I o'no -- they just have my Spotify tastes down, I guess.I used to always get their French Toast and some other random breakfast item (picture attached - my terrible photo skills don't do it justice), but the Chai Tea and Bloody Marys are good stuff, too. And I've also had a lot of other things in their brunch menu, so I can pretty much vouch for all of it -- it's solid all around and a little something there for every taste. And when it comes to dinner time, I always order the Steak-Frites (prepared medium temp) with chimichurri and a nice glass of some kind of red wine. This spot is worth the visit(s), and I like taking friends from out of town by whenever I have company. Oh, and the prices are very reasonable for the portions. You can go there on a budget if you need to, or you can paint the town for a night if you feel like splurging. Great range and variety. You can tell when employees care and like working at food establishments, and Zinqué seems to have mastered this with their team. Don't take my word, go and experience it for yourself -- and I'd recommend sitting at the bar.
The food was OK at best. Seemed over priced. Ambience was great. Good location. Service average.
Service great, very understanding. Kitchen is terrible. Ordered a steak med rare and we sent it back twice only to cancel it. Brussel sprouts under seasoned no flavor. Only thing we liked was the salmon and the drinks were mediocre. Wonât ever come here again.
The waitress was always behind the curve, if I have to hand the waitress my credit card before they ask about dessert or they clear my dinner plates than they have waited waaay to long to see how I am doing. Nice waitress but maybe too many tables or?
This is one of my go to restaurants in the area. You can actually hear your dinner guests which can be a challenge at some spots in little Italy. Itâs a comfortable vibe in the restaurant and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Shout out to ray for always making our experience amazing! Food is delicious, combo cheese board is the perfect appetizer, the chicken bowl is healthy and fresh. Highly recommend this restaurant whether you are going for breakfast, dinner or drinks!
Zinque has previously been a reliable brunch spot. The last two times weâve been, weâve noticed some changes to the menu (efforts to reduce food costs?) that are a problem. The French Toast, for instance, used to be a fluffy challah bread served with fresh berries. Now it is a thin sandwich bread served with a âcompoteâ that looks like just a slab of jelly. The black ice tea was opaque and bitter. Weâre kind of sad, because we really used to enjoy the place. But two bad visits in a row is a red flag.
Great food, nice casual service, and a fantastic open and bright space.
Loved it so much, visited twice! Food is delicious and drinks are amazing. Oh and dog friendly! Highly recommend.
I was on vacation with my mom, on a Monday night it was pretty empty, so it was quiet and food was DELICIOUS! Drinks as well! Would absolutely repeat!
An all-around fantastic experience. The outdoor seating area was really enjoyable, and our drinks were well-recommended and well-made (unfortunately we only drank, so I can’t comment on the food). Our waiter David was incredibly friendly and helpful, chatting with him was our favorite part of the night! This will definitely be added in to our regular rotation of places to grab a drink with friends.
