Absolutely stellar from beginning to end!Our server was quick on his feet with suggestions (and everything he suggested ended up being perfect). DEFINITELY get the trio as an appetizer, and a lamb skewer (or two!).The support staff were fantastic and quick, especially during the dinner rush, and the owner Yanni made his way around the dining room as well.Legit some of the best Mediterranean food in SD.The Jasmine trellises and fairy lights really set the mood for nighttime dining. You'd never believe you were so close to the highway!10/10!!

We visited on a Wednesday evening. All staff we saw were masked. We didn’t have a reservation. There were spots available in a communal fire top table, so we took a couple of those. The menu is quite extensive. We chose two bruschetta (purchased by the piece) and two pasta dishes. Everything was EXCELLENT! I had a smoked salmon with asparagus, capers, spinach and grape tomatoes. I was happy that I still had bread left so I could savor every bit of the creamy sauce. Staff were friendly, the service was prompt and prices were reasonable. If we were locals, this would become another favorite location.

Their beautiful patio was just lovely and the service was terrific! Plus it’s always a treat to get well prepared and fresh Greek food like they serve. We had a wonderful long afternoon feast there and can’t wait to go back!

Very good Mediterranean / middle eastern food, a little pricey, comfortable patio with great heaters. Service was sincere but seemed inexperienced. Might try again if in the area. We are blessed with so many other similar choice /quality and inexpensive places in San Diego to choose from.

We have always liked Yanni’s, even before they moved to their current Scripps Highlands Drive location … but we live 90-miles away now that I’ve retired. Last Saturday we got a local hotel so we could make a special visit to Yanni’s at 4:00 pm without reservations! Nonetheless, we got immediate seating on the Fireside Patio. Dan was our host.My wife got her favorite, a Spinach salad with salmon, while I tried something I’d not had for years, Salmon Limoni. Exquisite! Dan was extraordinary in every way… even surprising us with an on-the-house Mini Chocolate Budino for desert, which was to-die-for!All restaurant staff were wonderful, and all followed all pandemic protocols effortlessly and cheerfully.Thank you Dan, as well as all the staff we didn’t get to see again.

Have a sweet tooth? They have the BEST desserts!!-! And to go!!!! :)I started with the salad the other day but the Bodino jumped on my plate. Lol ?As you can see I hated it...lol

Great place for family! Bring your little ones here!Pork chop, stunning!Pasta, yummy!Cheeseburger, special good taste!Free bread, love it!But don’t order to go, try dining here. The flavor and taste would be the best for dine in.

Yanni's always nails it! I have always loved the food at Yanni's, they have a wonderful selection of salads in particular. Turns out it's a very convenient spot to meet people from all over the county with easy freeway access. They have handled the pandemic very well with lots of canopies and heaters in their lovely outdoor seating areas. Thanks Yanni and your crew for always providing a great dining experience!

I was recommend this for as a beautiful spot with amazing food and service...it did not disappoint. We started with drinks...they were amazing, pricey but we knew coming in that we were gonna be paying. Also we did a saganaki appetizer and while it didn't look like much it was damn delicious. I will say they hit my pet peeve when they didn't bring out enough bread with it but they brought more out. That minor issue is a me thing and didn't take away from the experience. We got pasta and a burger. Both tasty but realistically if you're gonna go out for a burger just grab one somewhere else as you will pay a small premium here.Dessert was tiramisu and was just the icing on the cake. Overall, if I could afford to eat here every night of the week i would. If you're worried about over paying, trust me you're not!

This was quite unexpected. The food was really good the brussel sprouts I love love love them. They were black and fried and drizzle will balsamic vinegar. Also the salads are incredible. Roasted vegetable salad was over the moon with dead of cheese and the pasta was exceptional. The only complaint I have is the type of bread they serve you is not up to scale of the food that they serve
