Very nice restaurant with a small menu which is a plus for me. A few ramen and meat on a stick options. Yakitori and pork belly were ok, but their whole squid was pretty good.We only waited about 15 minutes on a Saturday night.
One of my favorite ramen shops in San Diego. Prices are good, service is good and efficient. Favorite items for me on the menu are the miso Ramen, karage, and the dumplings. After 5 pm they start selling yakitori which is a style of Japanese BBQ skewers. Check it out when you are around, you won't regret it.
Some solid mid. It’s a decent atmosphere. One could find better quality for the same price.I had the Spicy T. ramen, and the grilled squid. It was alright, wasn’t a huge fan of the squid.Good service, they use iPads so it doesn’t allow the servers to shine as much. Fast delivery of the food. The appetizers are good. Fried chicken and the gyoza was good.
The food is excellent, the service is a little odd, I had some curry soup and spring rolls ???
This place is one of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. I am a regular and go at least 3 times a month. It's pricey but so yummy. Buy your servers and chefs drinks... they will drink right along with you. It is a small space so plan on waiting a bit. We love the peach jello shot drink.
comida muy rica y con buenos precios. Además, el servicio es excelente.
Cute! Awesome hole in the wall! Yakitori/ ramen House that is quaint and has the perfect Japanese ramen house atmosphere. You walk in and are greeted by a server who hands you an iPad at which point you transact everything on the iPad from ordering your drinks to ordering your food and even when you're ready for your check. Food quality wise was top-notch. I was also mesmerized by the chef who is stationed at the yakitori grill as evidence per my picture. I don't think you'll be sorry and the prices are pretty darn good. Roughly $11 to $17 per ramen bowl and about $7 per pair of yakitori skewers. Top it off with a ice cold, Sapporo and you are dialed in.
The food is wonderful, the ramen and the karaage was all great. My only complaint is when I was there we had been finishes eating for a while and was waiting for someone to check in on is so we could ask for the bill. No one came by I ended up having to flag down one of the staff and ask them for it. It was a bit confusing with the register at the front too my friends and I weren't sure if we were supposed to get up and pay at the register or ask for the bill.
Nice quaint place in a strip mall. The ramen was excellent and the beef was extremely flavorful. Everything was well priced for dinner and I would go here again in a heart beat.
Can my review just be here to emphasize all the other great reviews!?! This place is exceptional and if I lived in San Diego it would likely be a regular spot for me. Laid back, Japanese comfort food. No complaints, except I probably ate too much just trying all the varieties.
