Food and drinks were great! Went at 1:45pm and it wasnât busy until later. Definitely recommend the duck confit and pomme frites!
Our bartenders name was Henry and he was actually rude. We went on a Saturday 8/13 evening at four and were expecting a dinner menu but they were still serving brunch even though the brunch menu said 10-3pm. Which was no problem, but then when we were considering our drinks and if we just wanted to wait for dinner to be served Henry said âwell Iâm not going to wait on you guysâ and walked off. He also seemed a little intoxicated because he tried to bring us the wrong drinks multiple times even though he had already served us our drinks. My husband also had a small fly in his drink and we told the server (not expecting to be comped, just to warn about maybe checking the bottles or the ice) and he just took the glass and thru the rest of the drink in the sink in the sink and waved as if saying bye to fly in as a joke⦠other than the other server making us great drinks night was a little off, normally this place is great!
Cool vibes delicious food and drinks. Expensive so service should of been more up to par idk who is managing this establishment but I give food 5 stars service 1 star
Fun place good food. Would go back.
Excellent service and food, carousel bar was fun!!!
Food was terrible and had no flavor. We ordered the tiger prawns, green beans, bread and the Wagyu burger. The best part of our dinner was the bread which should tell you how everything else was. Service was decent we just never got water we had to ask for it. The ambience was amazing. The carousel was pretty good and the drinks were mediocre at best. Overall a cool place to check out once for a quick drink and no dinner.
Should experience it just once.
Walking into the restaurant on a weekday, reservations were not really necessary as walk in were easy to accommodate, so wait times were not an issue. Going into a bar, their drink menu was a bit lacking as I have been in bars with wider choices. However, the presentation and flavor of their drinks is spot on. The carousel feature in this bar, oscillates slowly enough as to not make you queasy after drinking and eating. Food was pricey as the portions for some of the main dishes was appetizer size. Despite that, it was tasteful and paired nicely with the drinks. Our bartenders were more engaged with each other, and at times, made it hard to call them up to attention whenever we were ready to order. Noise level is a bit unexpected at times since the airport is literally around the corner, so airplanes arriving into the airport is pretty noisy. But on a lighter note, shooting the underbelly of an aircraft from Wolfie's is a must. Overall, the bar is a bit smaller than expected but not any less beautiful for it. The wonderful use of carousel horses on top of some tables and the mechanism to make the bar itself spin makes it a very whimsical and a must visit bar in San Diego.
Excellent vibe and everything was delicious
