Great place for lunch
Excellent service and able to get us in & out for lunch quickly despite how busy they were. Thank you -- telling everyone we loved it.
Waiter was too busy to check back - food was spotty re: prep (fries were left under a heat lamp and then served - dry and unappealing. We sent back - only to get the same thing back. We wanted dessert but waiter did t return for 15 min so we paid and left. Disappointing.

It was our last night in San Diego and we wanted to make it a memorable meal. The Water Grill was the perfect choice. Service was exceptional. We enjoyed all the appetizers and entrées with no disappointments. Highly recommend giving this place a try. The black cod dinner entree and the 12 oz filet with the mashed potato side dish were the standouts. Iâm sure we have all ordered a filet to have it over or under cooked. The water grill nailed a medium rare perfectly. Well done all the way around.
For being near the water just surprising how poor the quality of fish.
