Great Walmart location, especially considering the area. It's a little tough neighborhood, but this place is always well stocked and efficiently run.
Located directly in the center of one of the sketchiest parts of San Diego id your friendly neighbor walmart. The surrounding neighborhoods of tent cities nd shanty towns all have an "Ewok Village" sort of vibe where Covid-19 is the least of your worries. They cash my paycheck with one count of ID versus nice and disconcerting at the same time. Is there only $4 if it's under $1,000 check that's kind of decent price. My main complaint is with a policy of counting out your money back to you in a very loud voice I might add and it gives everyone in line including all the homeless junkies a chance to hear exactly how much money you're going to be carrying through Ewok Village. Luckily I made it this time...
Not disability and or service dog friendly. Can't shop without leaving my essential companion and all belongings behind. Hypoallergenic and crated dog by the way. I just get spring water, boost glucose control and things like peanut butter. I don't cause problems or be in ways. Most other WalMart s are better.
Nice grocery store. Went to the Supercenter afterwards for some other essentials.
Walmart has everything in stock whenever I shop there. I notice every single Employees treating all...customers equally the same (me included.) With human decency and kindness with the utmost respect. That's why I continue being a loyal Walmart shopper. All my personal experiences with Walmart Employees has been all...bonafide good.
First of all. This Walmart is easier to get to. The bus stop there and back are yards away from the store. They have a great selection of fruit an veggies. I live this place.
They charged me the wrong price and refused to refund me because customer service was closed! You can't charge the wrong price and then say too bad we are not refunding you because we close customer service at 6pm.Kay was the name of the lady working the front and told me I would not be refunded for the wrong price charged unless I came back another time before 6pm and they would do a price check. By that time the price might have been fixed and they would refuse to refund after a price check. Kay just didn't want to be bothered and gave me attitude for standing up for my rights as a consumer. She kept mumbling insults under her breath. This is not my first time getting charged wrong price there and they always just refund at the register. THAT'S THE LAW! I was there at 05/19/21 at 7:20pm.
I love this neighborhood market. It is so well organized and clean. I thought itbwas weird that the Tylenol is behind a locked glass cabinet but I know I'm at the right place when I see the Limousin out front with the tent over it selling all sorts of items and the taco truck across the street.
They don't sell any dry goods. But even the basics. It's just a grocery store they need to have the basics Dry Goods. You need to be more like a Dollar General where you have sweatpants, socks, underwear, women's clothes, children's clothes, seasonal items, Etc. And the like. It's almost a waste of time going in that store sorry. That's my honest opinion have a nice day.
Very helpful. They have restrooms for customers but I saw non customers using them. Which is cool. Very friendly. Had a small town feeling for being in such a big city. All in all Excellent.
