The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is excellent.
I ordered 3 items: hamachi sashimi, sashimi salad and chicken karaage. The quality of hamachi sashimi was very disappointed. It has 6 pieces of sashimi and each piece was half size of little finger and not fresh. For sashimi salad, both pieces of sashimi and salad were not fresh at all. Chicken karaage was small dish. Overall bad quality and pricey. I don't understand why this place has high rating. It's joke to me?
Great lunch spot. The food is very good. I had the lunch set menu with miso braised mackerel. I also added the optional eel mini rice bowl. The eel was good, but I just thought the mini rice bowl had too much eel sauce for my taste. The set lunch was $11. The additional eel rice bowl was $6. I probably would have been happy with just the set lunch.
Its ok, out door dinning floors disgusting so that attracts flies very dusty same for inside dinning just look up and so many dirty webs, the glass they brought out had caked on food, not once did server came over to see if we needed anything, the taste and appearance of food just ok. Miso soup and hot green tea cold. Not hot enough according to health department , well will not come again first time here . 135 degree is not been served here
We tried about 8 things. The best ones were the egg with week eel, the eggplant and sweet potato with miso, raw octopus with wasabi, and chicken skin yakutori were good. The homemade pudding dessert was also really good.I'd avoid the duck, the salmon ikura don, and the deep fried octopus.
Small, simple and really good sushi place. The service was good and the food was tasty and fresh. The one thing that stood out was the chirachi bowl
Have been here twice. Food is decent, kinda pricey. But both times I came here service was SO bad.When we walked in, both times, we were completely ignored because staff was busy casually chatting with a single guest for like 5 minutes straight without even once checking the door. It was the guest that actually noticed me and alerted the host/server. Food would take super long, and it felt like our server would intentionally not make eye contact so that she wouldn't have to stop at our table to check on us, making it hard to get her attention. One time I finished my meal before my partner's meal even came out. The second time they messed up one of our orders.I tried so hard to like this place bc I actually like the food but the service absolutely kills it for me.
Large selection of dishes not serve anywhere else including their take on rice bowls, udon and ramen. Price is under priced for the quality of food and ambience. Crew extremely friendly and attentive.
Great authentic Japanese food with friendly staff and a cute sushi bar style counter as well as tables outside
Been here twice. Both times food was good. I recommend the scallop skewers and the nebeyaki udon. However, both times the service sucked. Waitresses are inattentive to the point that it seems like they avoid eye contact to avoid serving you. Both times an order was forgotten and my dining partner finished eating before I even got my entree. I really tried to like this place but bottom line: try elsewhere.
