One of the few places in SanDiego with good North Indian Food..Especially Dal Makhani recommended..

Dude at the counter has zero courtesy nor customer relations skills needed for a service job and I've had better Indian food.

I went to Village Indian Cuisine a long long time ago for a lunch buffet with my friend. I was surprised how many stuffs they provide at a really affordable lunch buffet. We got to try everything and they were all awesome. My fav is the saag paneer, and chicken tikka masala. I also loved their fried bread which is not really common at Indian lunch buffet. And yesterday, I did a lunch takeout because the buffet hasn’t reopened yet. The lunch combo is only $9.9 for two curries, with rice and naan and soup! If you add extra $2, you can choose lamb curry which I did. I just love it!!!! Very good price for a great quality of food. We will definitely do more takeout at this place.

I suggest going for lunch to do the lunch special.Que rico estuvo el Chicken Korma.

This is nice place to enjoy Indian food. I loved samosas and Chhole Bhature which I got.

Okay I never leave reviews but I feel like I need to show my support. This is the BEST Indian food I’ve had in San Diego, period. Portions are large, price is reasonable, and everything was cooked so perfectly. We got butter chicken, saag paneer, tandoori, vindaloo, and lamb samosas. Everything was perfect. I’m so excited to have found a new go-to!

Great staff that’s very respectful and nice. Food is tasty. Had the mushroom Masala with their fresh naan bread. A nice place for lunch if you work nearby.

The best Indian cuisine I've found in San Diego, so far. We had the Chicken Korma that was creamy and delicious. The Chicken Jalfrezi had so many yummy flavors with just a bit of spice. Looking forward to trying more from the menu.

Mostly great food. Our first visit was perfect. Nice, friendly, knowledgeable guy there. Nice lunch specials. Good food. Non-special entrees fair prices. Bread OK-ish prices. Sides not well-priced.Second visit, food was good except Bengan Bharta, which was mealy and not well-spiced. Nice to have peas in it, though. Also, the guy (different from first visit) didn't charge us properly. He didn't discount the entree for Meatless Monday (nice 20% off) or the samosas ordered with lunch specials ($3 instead of $4). The price was ultimately right, but it took a few tries/discussions.
