We had a great experience at Urban plates! General Manager was courteous and kind. It was our friend’s bday and we had mentioned it, not expecting anything…. and we were surprised with delicious cookies. This was so memorable and very special for our friend. You see this was no ordinary birthday! It was truly a special birthday! Thank you Urban Plates!

Wow... I was looking for healthy, organic food that would satisfy my hunger and found Urban Plates at Del Mar Heights. Matt was kind enough to guide us on how to order and suggested delicious choices on the menu. Thank you to the crew for the gift of trying a special mango popular dessert that we will consider for our next celebration. Their hospitality giant size cookies are also an added bonus? We love the way they treat their new customers. ? The food is outstanding.

We ordered tender plate, Wild Ahi salad and steak. Everything was awesome with a reasonable price! We just didn’t like the steak because of our type of taste. Then we asked to refund the steak if possible, but they refunded the whole bill! Because they wanted 100% satisfaction!! A great gesture from the manager and the team!
Let me start off by saying the food quality is good and I still am a guest on an moderate occasional basis. I first started off as an UberEats customer having my meals delivered and thought the food was great but wanted to of course eat the food when it is more fresh.I have since been in person dining at least 8 times and EVERY single time I have dined in person my food has arrived to the table cold or really just absent of any heat. I get a variation of the same meal every time but have yet to have a fresh hot meal from this place. Again the food quality for the price is great however absolutely absurd that even in person I can’t get a fresh meal from this location. Maybe the other places do a better job so Id recommend checking those out before this location.
The food is always amazing as I’ve come to expect but tonight during the dinner rush, a nice lady named Amanda brought us our food despite the long wait. She really went above and beyond and made our experience super rad! 5 stars fer sure!
We love this place, is so nice and the food is really good, they have a table with a fire for this winter nights!!The staff were really nice!They constantly change their menu so there is always some new items to try!!
Wow! Urban Plates is so delicious. We ordered the chicken plate with mashed potatoes and macaroni salad. We also ordered a kids chicken tender plate with a side salad. The food was really good and you can tell that there’s quality in their ingredients. Amanda brought out our meals and she was very friendly, attentive and passionate about her job. We really appreciate that she took the time to make sure we had everything that we needed prior to starting our meal. Thank you so much! We’ll definitely be coming back for more and we will make sure to ask for Amanda’s section.
