Layout is confusing, ambience is great and food is ok. I felt like the service could have been better. Waiter was looking like she was lost the whole time. The food was mediocre at best. We had the baos, a salad and a flat coke. Will definitely not return.
Great ramen!!!! I love every bite. Very friendly staff and seems to attract a really good crowd. I will go back again and again.
I love good ramen and spicy food, Underbelly delivers both! Chicken confit is new on the menu, I loved it! Otherwise my favorite is tonkatsu. If you're a fan of spicy food, you got to try the ghost chili sauce! That was originally featured on an old TV chef show called Heat Seekers and the reason I first came here years ago.One of the best and reasonably priced restaurants in Little Italy.
Awesome staff and atmosphere
Don't let the bad reviews fool you; this is an excellent place to get your ramen cuisine.Parking is available on each side in the public lots or on the street.Prices are fair and affordable.Drinks are the right choice for this style of food, and they take requests. The wait in line is no problem considering how fast the turnaround time is.The best part for sure was the vibe.Just try to get to the bottom of the bowl. Good luck.
Absolutely the best Ramen in all of San Diego, the bowls are simple amazing with a hearty portion of Pork Belly, full soft boil egg, three dumplings and a whole lot of Ramen noodles. Their potsticker/dumplings are amazing too.Seriously a beyond 5 star Ramen Noodle Restaurant.
The most delicious ramen EVER! Super cool place, nice people, delicious food and drinks. Definitely a must if you visit San Diego
The food and ambience is truly unique and amazing. The service is very customer oriented and the menu has some great options. I was really impressed with the Ramen and how fresh it was!
Checked this place out with a friend and sadly we were very disappointed. I got the belly of the beast ramen. The broth wasn't very flavorful and it had seaweed inside the broth which definitely changed the flavor a lot. A lot of the noodles were like stuck together. Seems like maybe they were frozen and then weren't pulled apart properly? Oxtail honestly doesn't go well with ramen imo. The appetizers were pretty good but not worth $7.
Amazing ambiance and dining experience. The place gets full and appears to always have a que so expect a wait before being seated.Orders are taken before being seated and drinks served immediately so there's no wait.Had the bento and the chicken wings in Korean prep. The portions were great and tasty.
