At first I was super skeptical and didn’t understand why I would enjoy paying to grill my own food at a restaurant.I decided to try it out and I’m so glad I did. First, the drinks were great. I myself had a beer, but my girlfriend had a Manhattan and they were great.When I was ready to eat I was happy they had a lot of seasoning and sauces to add to the meat. The meat was very good quality and savory. The prices are well worth the visit.I definitely can’t wait to take my family here and I can’t wait to go back. This is east one of my new favorite spots in San Diego.
Fun classic spot for San Diego! It still has the original wallpaper. Menu has improved over the years and their drinks are good. Prices are reasonable. Fun spot with friends!

This place is truly the most perfect dive bar. It has food, good music, and delicious drinks and that is truly all you need. When I was in San Diego for one week, I came here for dinner almost every night because it was so good and fun.
Wife and I are out of towners, and stopped in here last weekend. This place is amazing. Good people, cheap drinks, amazing atmosphere. Ordered a few skewers and grilled them up with some conversation with some regulars here. We loved it. We will be stopping here every time we go to San Diego. We’ll be going this coming Saturday in fact.

If you like your drinks heavy on the liquor. This is your spot. I was able to make close to 3 drinks with my 7 and 7. It gets crowded and only had one grill when we went. But still good food and cool staff
Best neighborhood haunt. If you love dive bars, and cozy, warm, bubbling spaces, this one's for you! Cook your own meat, get to know some strangers around the grill, drink in hand. Slide in to a red vinyl booth and dig in to your baked potato. This is my favorite place, ever.
The place to go to if you're looking for steak at 1am! At first this placed looked deserted but as soon as you walk in it comes to life! Although I loved this place and the food was great a downside was that you have to cook the food yourself on a grill. So make sure you know how to cook a steak before you come here! Or ask someone for help. Overall I would still come back here again! Great night life energy!
This is a neighborhood gem! Everybody is always nice and food does not disappoint. The Turf Super Club is a kitchy cuaint place with an open bar grill inside! Marinated flank stake and a dirty martini are my go tos.
