Food here was great and great service!I decided to get their extra spicy boiled tofu because I love spice and this spice is SPICY! It was exactly what I wanted. A lot of place have weak spicy foods but this one is great.
Food is actually good. Service is good as well. Theyre very fast and attentive. My gripe, and why I've given 3 stars, is because they charge you $1.50 for a bottle of water and have no free alternative. In other words, if you come here, you're paying for water in a restaurant. Now when we go, I bring my own water contigo/water bottle and they seem to have no problem with it. I just feel as though it's a bit of a dishonest business model to have no free water in a restaurant. I've spoken to friends and neighbors and many feel the same way.
I am from Korea and I know what authentic Korean food should taste like. I visited this place because it seemed to have decent reviews. And yet, I was literally shocked by how dirty the food was prepared (a few bites/teeth marks already made upon serving - REALLY??, not to mention its weird taste (are they trying fusion? well, definitely not Korean food, I say). The waitress there gave a very poor service. Her frowny face says it all.I would never recommend this restaurant if you care for good quality food/service.
The food tasted really delicious and it came out hottest of any other restaurant ever. My friend and his family go there all the time. he’s a vegetarian, they are not, but he said this time we went, they used too much oil & and it was a little spicy for me? but the ground chicken hot stone and the tofu soup was very very delicious ?
The food was Okey.. nothing special about it, we ordered seafood tofu soup but there was not much seafood in there but a lots lots of tofu inside the bowl. People that work here do not know what customers service is. Only one waiter that work for all customers orders. So, don't be surprise if he left you suddenly while talking your orders.
My wife and I love Korean food, so we wanna find out if Tofu House in Mira Mesa was good, since the one on Convoy was disappointed. It was a Saturday around 1:00 was pretty busy, when we walked in and saw it we both thought it might be good because of the packed house and are surprised that there’s only one waitress and one other man bringing out the food. We ordered and the food came out in about 3-4 mins to our surprised. Let me tell you the food didn’t look that appetizing and the taste was was even worst. It seem like everything was pre cooked and and set aside to serve. It tasted more like a fast food chain rather than a restaurant, what happened to the quality of Tofu House, it seems they just cook just to cook, I remembered back then it was very good and now no quality or flavors anymore. Would not recommend or go back there again, it’s cut off our list.
Love the food
Bulgogi Hot Pot is good with eggs added to cook with the rice and sprouts. Service is fast once you have chosen. Request ice when ordering a drink.
Got the combo H. Pretty good and different from BCD.
