Great selection of Vegan options. It's where sophistication needs fast food. I like that you're able to scan the QR code on the table in order directly from the table, or you can choose to go up to the register.
The came asada was a great protein choice, the Strawberry Agua Fresca was the best thing I had there, the queso was very disappointing and served barely warm. May try this place again, on the fence.
The order was delivered in less than 10 minutes and the owner explained why they have a timer for each order… it was all fresh and nice, although my bowl was incomplete… I added scrambled eggs to the order but it that was never included in the bowl…
We always like tocaya. But my latest order of vegan chicken carry-out meals got stolen by someone beforen we could pick up. The store keeper and chef were kind enough to redo all the dishes for us. Unfortunately, 2 entrees of vegan chicken were replaced with real chicken, and the chocolate waffle bites had no chocolate dip. Only the family vegan chicken rice combo was fine. I feel bad for the workers to spend extra effort to redo our dishes but I am really unhappy about throwing away half of my dinner because of their mistakes.
I was looking forward to trying this place but I stood at the counter Sunday for over 10 minutes and no one ever came up or called someone over to take my order. A guy was making drinks at the counter. He never said hi or welcome, or alerted any staff or manager I was there. Maybe 30% of tables were taken. Eventually 2 other groups were standing behind me. I walked out.
Was pretty meh overall. Nice vibe, but with all the emphasis on high quality ingredients, would think they'd bring the flavor to match. Pastor taco was way too sweet, marinated onions on the Cali taco were bitter, and the salsa was pretty flat.
Tocaya salad vegan cilatro chicken was amazing! Also had their vegan Pico w betong meat taco wow! So much flavor. Must comeback and try other items on the menu ?
Churro waffles that's all you need to know. Plus $2 Taco Tuesdays
This restaurant used to market itself as Organic Mexican, and when calling tonight to place my order at the One Paso location, they stated that NONE of their produce is organic, including their avocados. This is the classic bait and switch these chains do to get their customers hooked on their food and market themselves as health conscious and organic, and then go back to conventional without alerting their customers when they do so. Cutting corners for additional profits and fraudulently pulling the wool over the eyes of their customers. Shame on you! Spread the word far and wide! Don't let them get away with it! You've permanently lost my regular business!
Delicious gluten free tacos, burritos, quesadillas, margaritas & churros! Perfection!
