Imagine complimentary coffee at some strip mall mechanic. It's been festering and boiling for 12 hours. That would be close but better than this. I was curious why a nice looking place had no customers. Now I know.
A great, calm, and airy coffee shop in the heart of San Diego. The coffee is great and so is the service. A very clean and modern coffee shop also love the natural lighting.
This place is gorgeous and has such a great location. The staff is super friendly. However, I have gone a few times spread out over a few months and it just doesn’t have the quality I would hope. The food options for breakfast or lunch sandwich are fine but not great. I have gotten a different coffee each time and every time is just fine but not great. There’s just a whole lot of fine/okay.One thing that is really needed are sugar free options for the coffees. I keep hoping that upon my next return, they would have sugar free flavoring as all the coffee shops I have ever been to always have at least one. But, not here.And, it’s the closest alternative to Starbucks in the area. So, it’s got that going for them.
I come here for one of the croissants, but especially for one of the breakfast sandwiches. The buns are always fresh baked, simple and really tasty. Give it a try!Staff is really nice also
Awesome breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Friendly baristas. The matcha didn’t disappoint. Lots of seating and a few outlets available. Will definitely be back!

Bright and airy coffee shop nestled along fifth avenue in Bankers Hill serving up traditional coffee, specialty lattes, and quick bites. The salted caramel latte I ordered was smooth and creamy. Besides the coffee, the chill atmosphere is perfect for work or study. But the trendy vibe and plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating also makes it the perfect spot to meet up with friends.
Cute little cafe under an office building, the cafe serves coffee, hot chocolate, and chocolate croissants good food at good prices, free wifi, very nice bathroom with bathroom key, and very friendly staff.
Perfectly balanced flavor and texture on the salted caramel latte. A proper espresso drink.
Loved it. Would definitely come again. The service was great, our barista was so friendly. Our coffees were great. And the turkey pesto sandwich was super yummy and fresh. I had the iced honey cinnamon latte with almond milk and it was super good, not overly sweet. My husband had the iced salted caramel latte and he really liked it. Great atmosphere, clean and comfortable. Clean restrooms. Parking on the street was easy. Good location, not a far walk to Balboa park. The only downside was that their pastry selection was limited -- only two items available at 10:30am since they got cleaned out earlier in the morning. But we enjoyed what we got and we look forward to revisiting.
