Best tacos we had in San Diego. Al pastor is really juicy and yummy! They make the tortilla and all the meats right in front of you. Nice experience! Also they have all kinds of salsas
The chicken and al pastor tacos are fantastic. Home-made tortillas and a decent price. Wait times and limited seating may be an issue though! Otherwise, absolutely fantastic.
Some really good tacos. Yes you can find cheaper in San Diego but 3 tacos filled me up for less then $14, affordable. The fish and shrimp tacos were crazy good, make sure you get some salsas to try out!
Don’t expect fine dining, expect to eat good food!Busy place with a lot of people picking up orders. That’s always a good sign. They made our tacos perfectly without cilantro for me. (Which isn’t always easy to accomplish)Food was great, service as to be expected from a fast food Mexican place and the clientele was diverse. Would definitely go again.
Some of the best tacos that I had in the downtown area.Al pastor was delicious but Cameron (spicy shrimp) was average. They have a small seating area and it gets pretty crowded. I’d have given 4 stars but the cleanliness in the dine-in area could really be improved. There was no one to clean up after each party leaves the table, which led to us cleaning the table ourselves.
Visiting from Austin this was the best Al Pastor I’ve ever had and the tortillas were amazing! The Baja fish was our 2nd favorite and all of the salsas were so good. Highly recommend
Excellent food, nice service and nice staff! This place is small, but the food is fantastic! I love the tacos, the burritos, and churros! The salsas is are pretty good, but not amazing quality. He had the California burrito as well as several of their tacos. All very very good! Parking is no good in this area though, so beware of that.
Solid taco stand with a decent amount of protein variations. I got carne asada, pastor, fish, shrimp tacos. The Cali burrito was good and reasonable size (not huge like a newborn baby). The reason why I have to lower this to a 3 is because the corn on the cob was possibly the worst I have ever had. The corn was mushy and kernels limp. Too much lime. It was basically a soggy and old lime stick. The pastor was not very good either. They had a spit but did not use it and the pineapples tasted like canned pineapples. So just don't get the corn and the pastor and you're good.
Fantastic tacos. We had the Sonora, Caldaron, and el Pastor. All were fantastic. The super fresh tortillas were the secret.
Great, inexpensive place to get authentic Mexican food.Just flew into SD for a short vacation and wanted to go directly to get some fish tacos. There were tons of places within walking distance from our hotel. This place not only had great reviews but also had great prices!I got a fish taco and elote. My husband got the carne asada taco, steak taco, and a Modelo beer. Altogether our meal was about $27.Every thing was delicious. I’ll definitely be back again.
