In the San Diego area and this place was recommended to try. So we did and this place was good. Parking was horrible because this place is located in a residential area. We tried their shrimp tacos and California burrito. They also have a variety of sauces to choose from. Definitely a place to check out if you like Mexican food.
My husband and I just wanted a small lunch. We each had a chicken taco. Wow! They were so delicious! Had the perfect amount of (not too spicy) salsa and guacamole. Friendly, efficient staff. Everything was clean and tidy. We sat in the warm sun on the cozy, little, outdoor patio. Highly recommend.
Tacos are large and in charge. So yummy. Will definitely come back!
Best tacos I’ve ever had. Small shop, with a long worth the wait line. Indoor seating is limited. While waiting, you can watch the staff make the Tortilla batter. So many items to choose from. Tacos, burritos and deserts. Everything home made. The condiment station is monitored frequently for replenishment and cleaning.Staff was patient and hardworking. They sit the bar high.
LOVE their tacos - I get their grilled shrimp and the baja tacos. Sooo good. What I like is their salsa bar and their cilantro crema + chipotle sauce is amazing.Get their special fries and you won’t be disappointed. They are really good! Their churros were made fresh to order. Rather everything is made fresh to order and their kitchen has a glass window so you can see how they make your food. Definitely gonna visit this place again for the third time this month
My Cousin told us about this spot. Wow! Mir Y Tierra Burrito and the Fries were ridiculously delicious!!! Prices were absolutely affordable!
Came here for lunch. Not expensive compared to most places. Food was great try the mar y terras fries w steak and shrimp so good ? worth it. Crisp fries.There is a clean bathroom and street parking. I would go again just to poo there.
Now, I do eat Tacos and I’ve been to all the best spots in San Diego and I think they are great. But at usually $4 or more per taco I’d definitely stick to burritos at $8-10 and Taco Stand happens to have FANTASTIC burritos… but today we are talking about T A C O S!The Carne at Taco Stand is AMAZING!Just like Tacos El Gordo and Salud the Tortillas are made fresh and are all amazing!The Salsas here are all solid and my favorite happens to be the Verde with chunks of avocado ? inside the Salsa.And now to the rating of these ? TacosOn the Portnoy Scale the Carne Asada Tacos are a very solid 9.1
Quality food! Im not the biggest fan of tacos but these are the best tacos I ever had! Plenty of meat, fresh; fast service and great prices. Small store but pretty convenient and it was very busy, worth waiting. Definitely will be back!
Without a doubt best tacos/burrito we've ever had! We got the California burrito and a few tacos, and they were super fresh and BOMB! We liked it so much we made it our last meal in San Diego before leaving. Will definitely be back next time.
