This magic show and dinner is amazing!!! The pre show while you wait for the entrance to the show consists of a magician to entertain you at your table and then you go into the hidden room where the food is amazing and great portions. Then dessert. Amazing. The drinks are of course amazing so worth it.
Excellent cocktails and show. Even the bar is great, they do magic as you're drinking. Very fun and skilled sleight of hand.
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Prestige in San Diego. The food was incredible and generous. My husband and I had prime rib and our daughter had the chicken dish. Everything was excellent.The pre-show magician was engaging and fun. The evening act magician, George Tovar, was fantastic. His tricks were surprising and his rapport with the audience was top notch.Definitely worth the time and money. Highly recommend.

Positives: the food was mostly good (steak was fatty, but desert and other entree were excellent). The performer had a sense of humour and some cool tricks. Overall, we liked the vibe and atmosphere.Negatives: the show was only 45 minutes, and finished with more of a talent show with shadowing and music, rather than magic. As well, the billing system worked that we were asked to tip on our drinks, and then again on the total bill (ticket and drinks). Overall, it was an enjoyable, but a slightly overpriced evening.
Our reservation was for 7:15. They did not sit anyone until 7:30. The salad was good, the ribeye was mostly fat. About half the ribeye was fat?. The mashed potatoes and vegetable portions were small but delicious. The chicken is only a breast not a whole chicken, as advertised/pictured. The time between courses was lengthy and without entertainment. The show was short and the magic tricks were below average. Overall, it was an ok experience but we will not go again. Oh and parking it’s expensive, $32
This is a hidden magic room! Trust me you WONT regret coming in! The drinks are good and they have amazing magicians (Terry!) at the bar too and engaging around the room and it is AWESOME! Stop in get a drink and be prepared for an awesome time! Terry is an amazing magician. James and Selena are awesome bartenders! I will be coming here every time my boyfriend and I visit San Diego!
Arrived at the Prestige and had a drink at the bar. The decor and atmosphere was amazing. Terry was very entertaining in the bar. He performed some card and coin tricks. Then we went into the back room and was served a delicious dinner. The show started after dinner. Steve Owens was performing. The show is about 45 minutes and it was great. Captivating, entertaining and enjoyable. Tricks were fantastic and the man’s got jokes. Highly recommend! Had a great night.
Wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff. Things were running behind and because we had to wait they gave us drinks on the house. Great customer service and excellent show! Would definitely recommend!
Had a great time here, highly recommend to anyone looking for something fresh and interesting to see in San Diego. The main performer was Bruce Gold and there were also several local performers who amazed everyone at the bar. Food was delicious and the servers / bartenders were extremely friendly and prompt with service. The venue was intimate and every seat had a great view. Even if you aren’t into magic before seeing the show, you definitely will be interested and amazed by it when you leave.
