It says it's an Irish pub, but it is not! It's more like Mexican-Irish. Mostly bar, not really restaurant. Nobody knew much about the "Irish" menu. The nachos were disgusting. The Moscow mules were so badly made. Service was chaotic, 4 different people at our table taking orders. The music is insanely loud for a restaurant. Do not recommend.
Good people and amazing Pub food! you must try the shepherd's pie!!
Some may say that it's a dive bar and so judge it as a dive bar ... our bartender was very nice, fantastic lady and great conversation but she was put into a role that she was not trained appropriately for. Our beers were served fine but while watching her make some black and tans (this place used to be an Irish bar, still sorta looks like one, but is now a sorta mexican-irish weird fusion that doesn't do either well) ... it was disappointing. That's a relatively hard drink to do right and she simply wasn't trained properly. I hope the management pulls things together though since this is right on my block and I miss the good times with the old - pre-covid - place.
I was looking for a bar with excellent cocktails and great food in down town San Diego and the Patricio's restaurant delivered. The staff was also excellent, especially Jose. His recommendations for me and my friends were spot on so we had an amazing experience. I will definitely be going back!
Me & friends went to check it out this restaurant bar. We liked it with decor & the vibe! But, I won't come again because the bartender stole my money from the bank info. The manager or whoever told me says, "system went wrong" & i haven't got my refund in past few days. ???
It says Irish pub but it’s far from it. Went there on a Friday night and was Latino night. The djs were excellent and the bar service was swift. Lots of space to dance and socialise. Top night!!
Great experience. Excellent atmosphere and the staff was overly hospitable. I highly recommend stopping in for a cocktail before a padres game. They will treat you well and the prices are amazing.
I liked Dublin Square better, but the drinks were good and so was the food.
Walked out the door looking for adventure! Galavanting down the Gaslamp.. I was struck by the presence and vibe of what could only be described as Gandalf’s Spanish Villa getaway. Tucked between both the shire and the urban chaos of the new generation of Tik Tokers and pretend dancers. Truth be told, in a world full of fake music and fake dancers, there is only authenticity here. It’s the kind of truth you wish you knew about your childhood that you have chose to repress. The cocktails here are both herbal medicine and spiritual healing (if you have more than 3 it’s sexual healing). Who needs a reset when you can come here for a quick hit of a better life. It’s the refresher every troubled soul needs.
Great spot! It reminds me of the ole Jose McIntyre's in Boston. They take of industry people!!! Awesome live music. Check it out!
