This was a quick stop for lunch before heading to the airport. The Original Sab-E-Lee, located at 6925 Linda Vista Rd, San Diego, CA is a petite quaint Thai restaurant, which offers cuisine with a surprisingly robust flavor. I enjoyed the Pad Woon Sen. My husband and I shared and enjoyed the Egg Drop Soup and Garlic Wings.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in SD. I knew about this spot over 7 years ago when they were at their tiny old location. The food here is still really good but their prices are more than other comparable places. For example, steamed rice is not included. And the portion size is meant for 1 person so it's on the smaller size. Especially the size of their larb plates. I am used to having leftovers when I order multiple items for that price range. And I do know of some places with just as good Thai Issan or Lao spots locally. I mainly came here to try specific items on their menu. I don't know what happened but I guess rent increase at their new spot is why portion size seems smaller. Food is still really good. Interior decoration needs some improvement or upgrades though.

Friend and I got red and green curry at 2 and 3 level spice. As long as you don't eat too fast and get it down the wrong throat, I'd say those spice levels are manageable. Good amount of food as well.

The food is great. It's a small establishment but I never have trouble finding parking. I love the noodle soups they offer. It's not the typical Thai restaurant you'd expect. Give it a try. I recommend it.

Nice Thai food place. A lot of options on the menu.

my dad owns several thai restaurants in china and ever since i came to the states ive never had “authentic” thai food that actually meet my personal standards. but this one is the best i’ve had and it’s actually soooo good! rly recommend the green curry + chicken, the eggplant in the curry tastes ✨AMAZING✨ i always ask them to add more!!!

Fabulous food great variety. I had a tom ka soup with eggplant and pork Lots to choose from and fresh made...wonderful service. Will definitely come back here again. They even have plum sake. Five stars for sure.

Best thai in San Diego in my opinion. Their curries are so complex and flavorful. The drunken noodles are so rich yet feel so light. The prices are relatively low considering everywhere is pretty expensive right now (end of 2021). The service is fast and friendly

The food here is pretty good. I got the chicken larb and tofu paneng curry. Rice is a $1.00 extra which is strange…? I ordered 10/10 spicy ? and it came out very spicy. Good flavors. You can expect ~$25 bucks per person to eat here with an appetizer, drink and entree.

Dinner for four was outstanding and reasonable. Salad rolls, Tom ka soup, Panang curry, grilled pork neck, green papaya salad, drunken noodles and papaya sticky rice all distinct, fresh and delicious. Top notch service. Bring cash.
