I love the Kebab Shop - order takeout from here frequently and it's always amazing. Of course I had to jump at the opportunity to try a new menu item, the Fries Wrap. Basically take an awesome wrap and make it better by adding French fries (the cali burrito way). I got lamb, it was excellent! Make it better by mixing the yogurt sauce with the chili sauce. Will be back for more.
It Was Almost Closing Time, and the Chairs were already placed upside down on the tables to mop before closing but to our surprise we were welcomed in by an employee named Isaac anyways. I’d never eaten at a Kabob House Before so it Took a while to look over the menu and Isaac was very helpful and patient . His cantor was duly appreciated.Another Employee named Ben was working late night Magic a behind the counter preparing our dinner.If Customer Satisfaction was an official Olympic Event Those Two Employees (Isaac and Ben) Would Receive the Gold Medal .The food was amazing , and it was large portions…Loved it !!!
The spicy cilantro sauce is soooo amazing here!! I always get the plate with Grilled chicken. Definitely one of my favorite take out restaurants in point loma. And kids eat free on Sundays ?
If I could give less of a rating I definitely would. Piece of advice, Alejandra, manager of today’s shift: all Black people in San Diego with book bags are NOT homeless???. Never get my business again.
We ordered wraps with fries, it was delicious and freshly made! The establishment is clean and service was great. The ladies there fixed our order very kindly when we ordered something different. I’ll definitely recommend!
Food was pretty good, BUT do yourself a favor and order it TO GO. NEVER get the plate meal for here. They will skimp out on the doner chicken. Every time I’ve ordered for TO GO, they pack that tray full of rice and meat, nothing like what it looks like when you order dine in. It feels like they are trying to present the food like some fancy restaurant where they hardly serve you any food on the plate. PLEASE order TO GO. you will get more food, like you actually paid for.
Food was amazing. I believe they have best hummus in west cost.
The chicken kebab was good but it is not a traditional type of service for Turkish food. No bread comes with the boxes. And the prices on the menu and the price i was charged was different. So, i would not recommend this place if you would like to try real authentic Turkish food.
Can't say enough about the kebob shop on rosecrans! The food is top shelf, and the staff is the friendliest and professional without a doubt! Probably why I go there once a week. Today I made a new friend Isaac. Hey Isaac, the fries were perfect! We'll see you soon!Dean
I went yesterday and ordered my food. First time ever eating here.Two orders got called before ours. That was irritating.Also while sitting inside I got bit by a mosquito ?8 times on my ankle area. I knew when I was sitting I felt something and then my friend went to the restroom and there I seen it on the ground underneath the table flying around. ?The food was not up to par. Mine also had a hair in the gryo meat and the meat is so thing not how it should be cut.Fries where hard as a rock.Only things that tasted good was the chicken kabob and the cilantro sauce. There Yellow rice tastes weird almost like chemical taste.Skip this place and go to real kabob places in San Diego.
