I bought a carrot cake for my girlfriend’s birthday. We both agree that their carrot cake is the best we’ve ever had. Amazing!
The cakes and truffles are all great and they don't skimp out on flavor or size. Jennifer is friendly and helped me out with my order. Can't go wrong asking her for some advice. She makes you feel welcome, like you've been coming to her shop forever.The shop offers unique flavors as well as tried and true. Some of the flavors offered (at the time of this review) ginger, raspberry, espresso, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, Jameson, rum, champagne, and more.
This place is amazing. The owner is so friendly and cares about service. I haven't been able the past couple of years to get back to SD, so called and placed an order to ship. She was so prompt and we got the order exactly when stated and in excellent shape. And the flavors were what we remembered! Thank you!!
One of our fave places to stop by on Shelter Island. We love the OMG cake, and the truffles are really good too. There are some benches outside if you want to eat your treat there, otherwise take it down to the waterfront/marina which is a shirt walk away.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We tried the brownie, the OMG cake, the truffles and the ricotta cookies and they were all magic. Special thanks for the complimentary ricotta cookie. It worked! Cheese in a cookie is no longer weird. It was delicious!!! I'm really glad we made a spontaneous stop on the way to dinner and ended up discovering the Elegant Truffle. Pro tip, you haven't lived if you haven't done dessert before dinner yet.Can't wait to go back for more treats!
OMG cake was wonderful. Also tried the habanero truffle which was quite unique and interesting. They nailed all the flavors.

Oh my goodness! If you ever have a sweet tooth come over there to The elegant truffle and they will satisfy it I promise...

I just went to The Elegant Truffle...Tuesday...they are closed...WTF?....the products are good but not good enough for me to make plans to shop then find out the are not open...everything online and where ever says they are open,,, except for the closed sign on the door...not OK!!!
