Wifey and I got the firebird and fries. It was good but not to die for. Fries are double fried. She liked them and I did not.
Okay food great sauces, I ordered the 5 piece fried chicken and I was not a fan of the hard shell, not sure if it was a wet or dry batter. But wasn't impressed.
The chicken wasn't good at all. I should've paid attention that everyone there had chicken sandwiches, also the cole slaw wasn't good. I tried the food and was very disappointing
Laid back, simply really good chicken dishes. Hand cut fries are extremely good. Lots of sauces to add to chicken if desired. Friendly, helpful, cooperative staff. Chicken sand subbing out the thigh for a breast was so good. Gonna ask for extra pickles next time. Reasonably priced.
Good food at a reasonable price. Lots of drink choices between beers, ciders, and fountain drunks. Fresh and delicious whether your trying to eat healthy or craving an awesome spicy chicken sandwich!
We ordered and picked up at the restaurant to bring it back to our hotel to eat. Service was great and so was the food. We had the chicken and fried egg sandwich, fried chicken, grilled cheese and fries. All were great. Restaurant has great outside eating area.
I had dinner at Juniper & Ivy last night (same owner) which was amazing and I’m so glad I came here also. It was excellent. I had the Senor Croque sandwich and it was delicious. Small fries plus they have about 5 dipping sauces which are probably for the chicken nuggets or fried chicken but I tried them out with my fries. Definitely check out this place when in San Diego!!
Really good chicken sandwich…I had the Diablo and perfect heat. Okay biscuits. Hipster hangout but noise isn’t too bad. Try for late or early hours to avoid the lines. Seems Ike only outdoor seating but plenty of heat lamps. Oh yeah, I’ll return.
Solid food, solid price.Awesome location located just a few blocks outside of little Italy. Friendly service and a bunch of fried and grilled chicken options that will leave you satisfied!
The food was amazing, spicy chicken wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be but was very good and we also tried their burger it was amazing. And their sauces are yummy was well. Would definitely visit again when in Cali
