We have been here twice and cannot say enough nice things to do it justice. Everything we and our friends have ordered has been absolutely delicious. The service is fantastic, and all of the staff is excellent and so friendly. The menu has a great variety from simple yet elegant, to adventurous and amazing! Seasonal flair all around. The drinks! I've tried a few beers and wines, each one has been excellent. Will definitely keep coming back.
Came here for a financial strategy presentation. Dinner was free but I ordered a beer and wine for the wine. We were in a private section. I've been here a couple times before and the menu and beer are still excellent. Would love to come here more often. Can't go wong here. Atmosphere is casual and they also have outside dining under a tent. Their beers are one of the best in San Diego.
We love this place for a week day date spot. The menu seems to be always changing and adding new stuff. The drink menu is excellent and fairly broad which is nice for grabbing a drink or two. The place is well staffed so you don't have to worry about being ignored and the bussers fill water often. The atmosphere is pretty chill with a large outdoor area and the inside has a bar area.
We went to here for a late lunch early dinner with a small group of us from work. Everyone worked there was very friendly, and we were sat immediately. The food and the drink menu look great. We were first given the lunch menu but then they swapped it out because I think we passed 4:00 p.m.We all coincidentally ordered different salads and upon arrival it was clear they were overpriced. Two of us added chicken to our salads and apparently that's $8.50 to add to an already meatless salad of 13 and $16. At that point they are the same price as the entrees. The salad portion was decent, but the chicken was so overcooked it was dry as a bone. We all had to choke it down as we did not want to send it back and wait or make a fuss. The other two Caesar salads added salmon which seemed to be properly prepared. The handsome gentleman that sat us over her that we were looking for some non-alcoholic drinks at the time. He recommended these amazing sodas/fermented style drinks. They were amazing and it was a wonderful recommendation!I had been here before and thought the food was decent, but unless they get the way they cook the chicken under control, I can't believe they were charging what they were. As a whole the place had a great style, decor and vibe. They had all sorts of beers and also had some cell stairs and hard kombucha which was nice for a variety! Because we were there for a late lunch we didn't really order any of the entrees, hopefully they are better than the salads!
It was ok. I was gonna give 3 stars but I have an extra one for them being able to accommodate my dietary requests. The bulgogy fries were actually tasty, but my burger was flavorless to the point I started to question if I had covid. But I could taste everything else just fine ? so maybe a little salt and pepper could have remedied that situation. The Flatbread was also pretty good but nothing to write home about. So just have them season the burger a bit and that will be a legit 4 stars
Great spot for drinks and business meetings and they have pretty good bar food here too, it's basically a drinks and wings spot when I go but they have everything from short ribs to mashed potatoes. So it's dealer's choice.
We were a party of four. Started with shared salads which were very good. Then entrees. Two of us had the short rib. It was good as was the mushroom sauce. There were some items on the plate that were obviously just for show as they were tasteless, but still a delicious plate. One of us had the rack of lamb which he said was very good. One had the Mac n cheese which could have had a sharper taste, but still delicious. All in all, a very good dinner so far. Would have earned 4 stars, but then came dessert. Two ordered the carrot cake. What a bummer. It came in three smallish cubes with a little spritz of cream cheese frosting and a few strands of candied carrot on the top. The texture of the “cake” was that of a stale muffin, and there was no flavor or texture of carrot whatsoever. Not the lovely moist carrot cake we are accustomed to. It is a pity that such a delicious dinner had to end with such a poor excuse for a dessert. We should have sent it back after one bite, but it is not something we have ever done before. We will still visit the Cork and Craft, but never again will we order the $9 thing they call carrot cake.
While great tasting, my hot sandwich wasn't. Cold atmosphere. Excellent service. Not planning a return any time soon.
We went here for their New Years Eve price fixe menu. We managed to try everything and it was all very good. The opening appetizer was a nice surprise; caviar and creme fraiche in a potato chip shaped like a taco. We enjoyed all three courses and wine pairings. They were all beautifully presented and well prepared. Our server did a nice job of explaining each course. All in all a very nice evening out.
cool, yellow/dim lighting ambiance, which I love, great for datenight, girls night or even family lunch/dinner. A variety of delicious dishes and specialty drinks, plus their own wines and beers. I love this place plus the service is excellent. Their Big Apple was very yummy ? ? a local gem.
