I generally always tip but was out of cash on two recent visits so I didn't. Prior to this I would tip and cashier was super nice but I had two terrible experiences when I didn't. First she threw my bagel at me on trip 1 then she began yelling at me in front of customers, and told me I couldn't treat her the way I was. Umm, I'm waiting for a bagel. Mid morning weekday visit had ample free street parking. Service courteous and friendly. Food custom omelette was good not greasy. Bacon bagel had a lot of bacon. Coffee not bitter not overpowering flavor. Decor welcoming and personalized of a small local coffee shop not franchise as most competitors seem to be. Would visit again as they serve food not just coffee/pastries.

Andrea was so friendly and the food was great. She took our order one morning and then remember all of our names and needs the next day. Coffee was made perfectly and deliciously. Food was incredible: the cliffs breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito, bagels, and açaí bowls were all FIRE. We wish we lived in San diego and would go here all the time. Try the sun dried tomato cream cheese! Overall 10/10 great cafe!
Great food and great menu. Loved eating my breakfast in the sunshine at the tables along the sidewalk. For dine in, ask if they have plates and silverware. I dined in and they gave me plastic and styrofoam. Also they do not have a bathroom but will recommend hitting up the nearby Rite Aid for that.
Cliffs Cafe was such a great breakfast find! So many options, we keep going back…LOVE the Muscle Beach açaí bowl and the open faced bagel options. Good drip coffee too!
Fantastic breakfast, even better coffee. Service was extremely friendly and quick. Adorable environment. Loved it so much!

A small restaurant with a pleasant vibe. You place your order at the counter and they bring your food to you. We enjoyed our breakfast choices - omelette and French Toast. They also offer a large array of specialty coffees.
So far, I've tried their breakfast burrito, their cliffs sandwich and two of their coffee drinks. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious! It's really hard to find a great breakfast burrito that is well seasoned. The one I had from here was perfect and is my favorite thing I've tried so far.
