Simply the best restaurant in Downtown SD, full stop.
Our party of four, which included an 8-year old, sat outside and had a delightful dinner. The server was very friendly and patient and guided us to a wonderful set of tapas. The outdoor tables are close to the street but it is not a through street so there is virtually no traffic. All in all, it was a most enjoyable evening.
Stopped in after being dismissed from jury duty. Was just going to get a glass of rose and a snack ended up getting the magret and steak frites. Amazing food just like in a French bistro. Awesome and attentive staff. Canât wait to be back.
Excellent establishment! Owners were attentive and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend!
We didnât end up staying for reservation. It was extremely understaffed, multiple tables were not cleaned off from previous guests. Table next to us was sitting there for 20+ minutes without getting a drink order. You could tell it was going to be a long wait for drinks, food, etc. The outside patio is so so, not really any ambiance or views, and inside was more or less a gastropub. Bummed we couldnât try the food, after reading so many good reviews thatâs why we came here. Maybe it was an off night, but they really need to hire more people.
Great place for a pre-show dinner. Great beer selection and wonderful small plates and entrees.
Table was ready when we arrived. Even had our name on it! Server was very nice with helpful hints about the menu. Food was delicious! 2 of us shared the baked brie tapas and the goat cheese salad. I had the lobster bisque and my friend had the butternut dish soup. All delicious! The soup portion was a bit small for the price but the other items were well portioned. Will definitely return.

This must be a place to go before a show at the Civic theater. Make sure to make a reservation and give yourself enough time to enjoy the food. Food was scrumptious and service was great.
Loved it. Great menu. Beer options were diverse. Had the brie with strawberry, a shrimp dish and the sausage Flatbread. All were outstanding though the Flatbread may have been the best of all.
