Worst service. The host refused to put 2 tables together for our family of 7. If she didn’t want to serve us why not say so. What an awful experience. And all this at 9 pm when it closes as 9:30 pm. . -100 points for Customer service.
Really good! Large portions and great prices. Loved that they had a lunch special. We got to try 4 dishes for the price of 2. Chicken and shrimp Tikka masala was delish. Vindaloo and panner was the prefect spciy. Mango Lassi was good. Thank you for giving us lots of Naan and rice.
Called and made a pick up order. The lady assisting me was kind and patient. She explained the menu options and helped me pick the best option. I love indian food, and was craving it. I wasn't sure about this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had the lunch special with Chicken Tika masala, vegetable korma, and salag paneer. It came with rice and naan. The food was flavorful and the portions were good. I ordered it spicy, and it was perfect. If I have a chance, I'll return.
Prices have nearly doubled over the last 2 years while the quality has gone down. Lunch special used to be $8 and is now $13 while removing the soup from the meal. Inflation does not double prices in 2 years.
Just move to the neighborhood and tried this place for the first time it was excellent, the prices are very reasonable. I got the lunch special with chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken, both were yum! The tandoori chicken was excellent, crispy and smokey and spicy, (I requested spicy)I'm from the Bay area where we have lots of good Indian food and this was some of the best I've had.The lunch special was $12.99, and was a lot of food. The samosas were great crispy not soggy or greasy. Will definitely be a regular here!
I love this place! I’ve been eating here for years and enjoyed chicken tikka, vegetable korma, and garlic naan last night. I do miss being able to eat inside for their lunch special, but I support them to keep the dining room closed. I recommend placing to-go or delivery orders earlier than needed because they do get busy and wait times can be long. Just plan ahead and be kind! Service has been friendly each time and the food is always appropriately spiced and full of flavor. Surprised to see they are rated 4.1 stars - no way, they deserve a much higher score!
Ordered chicken Biriyani and chicken 65. The taste is so bad that if Biriyani and chicken 65 taste like this I won’t have biriyani again. The worst biriyani ever I ever had or I won’t call it Biriyani. In chicken 65, chicken pieces were swimming in tomato sauce. 0 star. I think the cook doesn’t know how to make biriyani.
We stopped here to try out the food. Hope that's not have dine-in if it's time but they do have take out. They were very busy so they do have a lot of customers. They get your food out pretty fast and is made to order. The food was good
It’s only take out now. Food is really good. Riata could be much better as could be the gulab Jammons-but all other menu items have been consistently well made. Takes longer than time given, but worth the wait. Large menu-and they do a pretty good job. I gave 5 stars cuz they are good at what they do not just for the food. Still love Tandoori Guys better!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in SD ♥️ My favorites are Mushroom Masala, Bhindi Masala, and Saag Alu. We used to love eating in before covid but we get takeout all the time.
