The owner is a deceitful, dishonest, disrespectful liar. I would post my complete experiences in full length detail with perfect spelling and grammar but google for some reason won't allow it even though it contains no swear words, no all capital letters, and follows the guidelines. Just know that I will not be supporting this business any further and will also add in they are not very environmentally conscious either. Just hope they don't mess up your order and know that if they do they won't refund you or fix it. They might tell you they will but they won't. Also make sure to always get the detailed copy of your receipt because they will over charge you knowing that people never ask for the reciept to ever even look. And make sure they give you the detailed receipt and not just the total as they purposefully only give you when you do ask. This is one of those places that has many deceitful little practices as such to get more money from those who never pay any attention. Make sure you're not only getting what you ordered but also that you're getting what you paid for and then make sure the fianl total you get charged on your statement matches the receipt they gave you as well because this is one of those types of businesses.
Incredibly reasonable prices for the best Indian food I’ve had in SD. Very friendly staff as well and restaurant gives off a mom n pop vibe. Highly recommend eating here for lunch or dinner, meals are very high value!
Excellent food! Was passing in town and wish I had time to try everything on the menu. Delicious and fast counter order restaurant. I tried the tika masala combination plate with just rice and mango lassi. Appreciated that it came with generous portion of delicious naan bread. Wish I had time to try more items. Definitely recommend! Lots of nice outdoor seating too.
I never judge a restaurant by its look…I always go by the food. Unfortunately this was a mediocre restaurant. The food was horrible, chicken tasted old, the biryani was watered down, naan bread was alright. The 4 stars are total mislead!
Second time trying Tandoor. This visit was better than the first we tried the baingan bhartha and aloo matar paneer. We asked for both to be prepared on the spicy side, and Tandoor delivered nice heat and great flavor. Their combo dish includes a generous portion of the main dish, basmati rice, a cup of lentils, and a small naan. Good food and a great price. Had a side of onion kulcha, too...amazing. Great place to get a full meal if you are on the go in Mission Valley.
The guy at the register prob a Kid- who’s still learning to communicate, was rude and insensitive to our group of 10 with kids. He mentioned to his mom If we should be seated outside, then asked us if we can order. When I was ordering, he said- Can you understand the menu? Worst part is not realizing what his mistake was? Get some basic lessons before trying to run a business ?Of course we WALKED OUT. Spend our $200 somewhere else.
Hidden gem, really good food at a great price! We take-out once a month and they're very consistent and fast as well.
Delicious food. My favorite is the chicken curry & chicken Tika masala.. the garlic Nan smells good but the plain slice that comes with a combination plate seems to be softer and better. The donut balls in rose petal sauce is a must try. They're not doing Sunday buffet due to Covid-19. I can't wait for buffet to come back. I have yet to try shrimp curry al a carte but I've been told it's also delicious. The owner is friendly and polite. Menu is not limited to that of my photos.
Today was my LUCKY DAY! While visiting in town, I decided to try some Indian food, because I need food with bold soul and flavors to match. After searching, I found Tandoor. I ordered masala chicken combination, samosa and eggplant dish. All I can say is """YUMMY """ FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS.OH, THANKS FOR THE TEA! #TEAMSMILEY #PLAYTOWIN #GODSPLAN
The best little Indian place. Everything we have tried has been delicious. If you have never had galub jamun, the cheese honey rose dessert, theirs is the best and I reccomend trying it at least once.
