Fun spot in the Gaslamp district area. Ordered the Creamy Chicken Ramen, and while it wasn’t very creamy, it was delicious and the veggies fresh. Both indoor and outdoor seating in a cozy space. Recommend reviewing the menu in detail before you arrive, as you’ll have to order and pay before sitting down, which is understandable but makes adding menu items later difficult.

Order and pay at the counter as you enter, then your food is delivered to your table. Service is quick, though not a fast food place. Try the selection named for the restaurant- Tajima.

Had the Vegan noodles ?. It was really good. Full of fresh vegetables with a delicious vegan broth. Probably one of the best Ramens I have had in San Diego downtown area!

First time eating Ramen but like spicy foods. Tajima satisfied every craving for sushi and spice. Spicy sesame and the hand roll is worth the trip. Staff was great and helpful, and it was very fast.

The garlic edamame were delicious. The gyoza were delicious. The ramen was delicious. The prices were delicious. The servers’ vibe was delicious. And yes, even the scent in the bathroom was delicious.

I was super excited to see that Tajima had vegan ramen on their menu! I was also happy to see they could make their edamame vegan as well. They no longer have their outdoor seating unfortunately but they are definitely worth a visit!

Got the Tajima ramen, Spicy Seseme Ramen and the spicy tuna hand roll. They have changed(gotten worse) since the last time I came here in Feb 2021. Or maybe my ramen standards have increased. The broth was nice but the noodles were horrible. It was lke instant ramen noodles. Another thing is that you have to order first, pay, and then get seated and get your food. I dont mind that but it seems like a fast food restaurant culture like Mcdonalds or KFC. no one came in and checked on us either. No one was rude or anything btw. They were just busy I guess.

Ramen was tasty. Brussel sprout tempura was a bit large and hard to bite into without burning your tongue from the steam. I wish they made them smaller. I did like the matcha passion fruit refresher. Excellent service.

One of my favorite spots for ramen in San Diego! The vegan ramen is delicious and always leaves me wanting more even if I'm stuffed! ? The sake is great too, although this is the only place I've had it haha Sometimes the wait time can be long, but it's always worth it ?

Employees work here are very nice. All customer service workers should learn from this ramen shop about what customer service is. The ramen is good too. One of the best place in San Diego for me.
