Good - karaage, chasu in ramenBad - order and pay before you sit? What is this, McDonalds? Ramen-Jesus Christ, how can people rave about this watered down tonkotsu broth devoid of any umami, koku, and rich flavor that tonkotsu is supposed to have? No wonder this place is full of white people who probably have no clue what rich glutamic acid umami is supposed to taste like. If you are into bland Americanized ramen then this place might be for you, otherwise go elsewhere.

Took my parents here when they were in town and they loved it! I’ve been to the Tajima in El Cajon but never to this location. But everything we had was just as good! I love it when restaurants keep the same quality across all their restaurants!When you walk in you order then you sit down. So make sure you know what you want when you get up there, I am not sure if you can order more with the server once you aid down.I ordered the Tajima Ramen and my dad order the Carnitas Ramen. The Tonkasu was so delicious and flavorful! It was heavenly! The pork belly inside was really good I just wish their was more of it.. and the egg was cooked perfectly! It was so well presented also. My fathers carnitas ramen was pretty good too. It seemed like a fusion based on posole. They gave him a lime which made it even better!If you are looking for a really good ramen spot this place won’t let you down! I used to live in Japan and I miss authentic ramen.. this place comes really close! :D

The ramen is good, same taste as we had in the same branch in Tijuana, but Tijuana is almost half-price. The service is okay.

the pan fried gyoza taste a lot like the ones my mom made for me growing up as a kid! My favorite ramen is the spicy sesame and I always add extra fried garlic YUM! This is my favorite ramen place in San Diego !

The broth is very flavorful. Appetizers were lackluster. Order at the door, minimum service. Overall, Good ramen spot.
Absolutely delicious. The Tajima Ramen had a delicious, rich pork broth. The fried garlic really stood out. Not to the point where it was overpowering, but it was not subtle either. The staff was very friendly and offered recommendations. They also reminded me that any ramen could be made spicy; which is the route I went.
