FOOD & DRINKSI tried the Chicken Shawarma in a Pita bread. The Pita was soft and had a nice chew. Everything tasted fresh but the flavors were a bit flat for me.SERVICEService was meh. We were here the first time and we didn’t know how long it would take. Unfortunately they called the wrong name and our food was sitting there for a while and no one bothered to recall or look for us.ATMOSPHEREModern and cozy.RATINGI think if the flavor had more depth and we would have eaten the food hot and fresh, my rating would have been higher but for now I give them four stars.

Tahini had been on my list for awhile and I'm so glad I made it yesterday. Great service, spotless restaurant, plenty of parking. Tahini has the best falafel I've ever had, and the "OG" shawarma pita was on point! I also want to point out that the pita was perfectly cooked, pillowy and very flavorful in and of itself.Probably the highlight of my meal was the halloumi cheese sticks, with their own fig sauce: delicious! Everything was very fresh and flavorful including the sauces. Big portions!I will definitely be back!

Very good Middle Eastern street food restaurant. You place your order at the counter and they call your name when it is ready. Then you have a choice of inside and outside tables. Got the Chicken Shawarma Pita with Garlic Sauce. It was very tasty and had a fair amount of chicken for the price. The employees are very helpful and eager to make suggestions. The restaurant is spotless. They have some interesting light fixtures hanging from the center of the ceiling in the dining area that sets the restaurant apart from typical fast food places.

I love their unique menu and Everything was so tasty. I had chicken and steak shawarma and they were so delicious.

Fair when in a pinch. Clean and modern interior and relatively affordable. Quick, alternative option to commercial fast food.

They have the best chicken bowls in all of the US!!!!! The halloumi cheese is outstanding and they have the coolest drinks ever. Absolutely love this place and will come back very soon!

An insult to Mediterranean food. Hummus tasted like it was just taken out from a can. Shawarma was bland and oily. Falafel was soaked with oil and had an off flavor. The Pita was decent. If you ever had real Mediterranean food this place is not for you.

Ever since we saw them featured on an episode of diners drive-ins and dives with Guy Fieri in 2019, we’ve loved eating here. They just moved into a new location that is significantly larger, so I highly recommend trying it out.

Great falafel pita, added three of the sauces and tried the haloumi, would get them both again

I enjoyed it, but they didn't really knock it out of the ballpark. The prices are a bit high even for San Diego. All in all it was good and I'd recommend it.
