Omg!! Best ice-cream you can ever eat!! Honestly I stayed in line for about 30 mins but it was completely worth it!! We tried strawberry cheesecake, cookies n cream and butter pecan only one scope as it was huge but it was more than amazing!! You got to try it. Love it

Got plain chocolate scoop, which was super yummy & David was very helpful. I would’ve went with rocky road but luckily I tested it first and some reason it doesn’t taste like chocolate?? Lol
Sweet Shoppe makes the real deal. Full fat rich tasting ice cream. Lots of unique flavors and not served that cold that you can't taste it. Especially the chocolate truffle and key lime stand out
They broke my cone as they were scooping my ice cream and I came back to tell them it was cracked, and to just give me another cone so my ice cream doesn’t fall out. The guy with the earrings said no I’ll just give you a cup because I have to charge you for the extra waffle cone. Won’t return he was an a hole.
There were plenty of staff and we were served quickly. Everyone that was handling food was wearing gloves. I get the "cleanliness" complaints from other reviews, however to me it was only grimy because it's almost literally on the beach. Isn't everything near the beach kinda grimy? I wasn't worried about the quality or safety of the food in the slightest. The staff were all very kind and friendly. And as also mentioned, you definitely get your money's worth!
Huge scoops great value phenomenal ice cream great ice cream in San Diego
Came down here for a little evening treat. We got a waffle bowl with vanilla ice cream sprinkles and marshmallows for my little and I. The scoops are giant, I even asked the employee not to make such a big second scoop. I’ve cream is delicious and they gave us a fair amount of each topping and the waffle bowl was pretty good too. The shop was a little busy and had a few customers who were a little difficult but the employees handled themselves well and gave great customer service. I know it gets busy here on warmer days but I recommend coming in the evening and getting a really good treat.
WOW ? this is the biggest ice cream I have ever seen! We where pleasantly surprised by how delicious ? this was defiantly with every penny. Not to mention it is right here in the beach ?
Good selection of flavors but not a great selection of sizes. The only option is two scoops. It's huge! Seriouly ridiculously huge...haha! Make sure you have someone to share it with. The waffle cones are bomb!
