What a great spot! Reasonably priced, large menu and good sushi! We had the yellow tail sashimi and I would definitely recommend! Probbaly my favorite. The miso soup was surprisingly good too. We got two rolls to share. We got thr tsunami, which wasn't my favorite.. and we also go the hot wife roll.. I probably wouldn't order either of the rolls again and would like to try other rolls. The server was also super nice :)
Came here for the first time with some friends on a quick weekend trip and the food (I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl) did not disappointVegetables were fresh, meat was juicy, and the rice was cooked just right ✅
Chain restaurant has to keep up with the rest. This location does a good job and wins on atmosphere being so close to the ocean. They get a very large number of orders to go so if that's what you're looking for this is the place. I recommend sitting outside if you're dining in. Short list of tap beers but better than satisfactory choices. I prefer my sushi spicy and can highly recommend the tsunami and Chuck Norris rolls. Also the yakisoba noodles are a step above that restaurant named after a bear.
Very Good. Reasonably priced, especially during Happy Hour. The crisp rice sushi and the Jalmepeño appetizer is delicious. The kids loved the Gyoza dumplings, miso soup and California rolls. Great service by Alejandro.
There were 3 of us and first time at Sushi Lounge. We ordered miso soup, 3 different rolls one crispy, spicy and dragon. All were delicious! Wait staff were attentive friendly. We all agreed we definitely will return.
Honestly this place is not that good. The service wasn't good, the food was very mid. The miso soup was gross and cold, the California roll was bad and that's hard to do. The rice is just white minute rice :'( The teriyaki chicken and teriyaki salmon were really dry like even soy sauce/eel sauce didn't help. Luckily my brother is a walking garbage disposal he'll eat anything, but I've had way better I would not come again.
Great selection of sushi rolls. We ordered several kinds to have a taste of everything. Jaimepeno was good but needed more heat from the Jalapeno. Nicole was a great server. We ate outside and noticed there were a number of people eating at the bar. They were shaded from the sun. Next time we'll try to get a sit at the bar or inside. Outdoor eating is good at night.
Amazing service! Went there for happy hour and ate some great sushi for an extremely affordable price!
I've always love the sushi here. Last night I got several rolls for some family and friends who were visiting from out of time and they loved it. They said it was the best sushi they had ever had which I already knew was true. Love this place! Thanks Sushi Lounge!
Great sushi place in the Point Loma area of San Diego. Good place for happy hour deals and good service. Good atmosphere, good variety of sushis on the menu. A nice place for a good, relaxed meal!
