I placed my order early in anticipation of the lunch rush. The original pick up time was 11.50, which kept being pushed back. I was notified that my order was ready for pick up and when i arrived at the restaurant to pick my order, it wasn't ready. I proceeded to wait 20 mins and kept asking the hostess about my order. She kept saying, " they are checking on it" . So after about 10 people passing me up to either get seated or picked up their order, I decided to cancel my order and get my refund. Of course this is during my lunch break so, now I am returning back to work without any food. Definitely not worth the lack of service. This was my first time trying this place since I work down the street but I can tell you that I will definitely not come back. I also want to point out that this place is right next to the Costco gas line, so best of luck to everyone trying to pull into this parking lot.TL;DR Don't place your order here, you might not get your food. Save yourself the time and order from somewhere else.
Fish is good customer service has dwindled. Last 3 times I called in they’ve either messed up my order. The most recent time I mentioned it and the guy at the counter told me “it’s fine”. Don’t worry about it. I’ve worked I. Restaurants so I know how things can be but disappointed to say the least. Fully committed and isn’t to RB from now on. Gave it a second star cause good fish. Wouldn’t recommend.
Great sushi location in mission valley! Todo and tiger rolls are fresh and tasty!
My favorite casual sushi spot in San Diego! All locations are great but this one is my personal favorite. Must try the calamari and sushi/sashimi platter!
I always enjoy the food here! There's also a 50% off menu (40% on take out) so I don't have to break the bank for sushi. The turn in for here gives me anxiety because of the car line up for Costco gas but I go all the way around by IKEA because there's another entrance between the Costco Auto and Costco gas. ENJOY!
Wow. The best service and the food tasted so authentic. Miso soup and tempura was great. Go around Costco gas line and turn right to get thru the back.
Nice ambiance, outside dining, area heaters and friendly staff. I'm not a big sushi person so I can't really say if the food was awesome or not. It was good in my opinion. My wife and I enjoyed a night out without our kids. Woohoo
Great sushi place! Group of us stopped by after a jujitsu tournament in San Diego, the hostess was such an amazing person, checked on us often since we were a group of 13 trying to eat, she got us in and seated and the server was right there to great us. Wish I could list all that we ate but you can see by the pics, sushi was spot-on. If your a sushi lover like we are, need a beer and fantastic food, here’s your stop!
Unfortunately we did not have a pleasant experience at this restaurant...A waiter brought out a plate with what looked like a seaweed wrap but it wasn't something I ordered. This was my first time there and I wasn't sure if I messed up my own order so I asked the waiter what it was. He replied with "You ordered that, that's yours"? I was pretty sure it wasn't what I had ordered so I had him check the paper I wrote on and he did. I watched him check the paper and come back and take the plate and walk back inside the restaurant. (we were sitting outside in the front right beside the door). I watched him walk in with the plate that he had just took from my table and walk right back out not even 3 seconds later and hand it to the family that was sitting behind mine. I had already touched the food so I let the family know what the man had just done. I know it was the same plate because I removed a piece of the seaweed to try it with the white rice that was wrapped inside and the same place I picked off from was the same place that wrap had a piece of seaweed missing. When the family confronted the waiter about this he acted as if he had no idea what was going on even though it was the same waiter who took the plate and gave it to them.definitely the first and last time coming to this restaurant and I do not recommend.
Very good sushi place with a lot of variety and great flavor, they have 50% off most of their handrolls (which given the width of the rolls is priced appropriately at 50% off).
