It was a good place with good service. Something happened because the food and the service fell extremely down. It was empty, just a couple of other tables with people and it took more than 30 minutes to get my order. It was a Bomba dynamite that it's not a big nor complicated plate. And it wasn't as good as it was before. The nuggets in the inside probably were unfrozen. I'm not sure but definitely I don't get how it took so much. The place is super dirty and the servers trying to do their job but still a very poor experience. I think this was the last time that I visit this place. I absolutely do not recommend it.
I like the stateside crazy sushi rolls and this place has a lot of great one to chose from. You order first at the front counter and pay then you grab a seat. A lot of great craft beers on tap and they have a bunch of craft beers in cans in the fridge to chose from too. Really cool place to grab a roll and a beer won’t disappoint.
Just came for a Vegan snack. This was the third stop of my S.D. Vegan food tour. I had the House Brussel Sprouts and Vegan Karaage Chicken. The Brussel Sprouts were served on top of a crispy noodle and was delicious. The presentation of the chicken was awful but it tasted OK. Service was good too.
Variety of options beyond simple sushi orders. Good service, fresh sushi. What I came for. I will be back.

Very fast and Friendly service. Cool location in the gaslight district. We enjoyed everything they prepared for us. Atmosphere was quality by far.You can come here and eat good. And! Not too spendy ?.10/10 it’s good
The sushi was really good! We got three different rolls and they were all fantastic! Panda was our server and she was great! We would definitely go back next time we are in San Diego!

Sushi 2 has many vegan/vegetarian sushi, appetizers, and bento options (in addition to the usual non-veg options) so this place is perfect for both vegans and meat eaters to enjoy together. The vegan crunchy roll was good and had deep friend tofu, cucumber, avocado, crunchies (panko) and sauce. The vegan Shauna handroll was also good.I had the vegan 5 spice wings and they were alright, I think I might prefer one of the other options and will try one with sauce in the fitute. They have many vegan wing options so this is a major plus.I haven't dined in because the location is downtown and parking is so limited, but if you do a pick up order, there is a yellow curb in front if Citi Bank that you can use for temporary parking to run in and pick up your order.
Great place for sushi lovers. I came in just at the start of happy hour as we were catching an afternoon flight back home. I had the Baja California Roll which at happy hour costs $ 4 and a Sapporo lager pint. It’s a delicious roll you should try! The crunchy roll is really nice too. Give it a go, staff can be a bit distracted but the food makes up for it.
