BEST SOUL FOOD IN SD!I have tried multiple soul food joints in SD & NONE compare!! I had the Slap Ya Mama tenders which were cooked AND seasoned to perfection! The Mac n Cheese is to die for and the CORNBREAD… unmatched. The owner Derek spoke to us as it was our first time & topped off the experience. Super genuine people & amazing food. Would 100% recommend!
The food is amazing! I waited in the parking lot and received my food, for a moment there I thought I was scammed only because there is no store front but believe me when I say the food is amazing! On Sunday I had the house special chicken with the chard, mac n cheese, and the cor bread, my wife had the red beans also fabulous, the honey cake was good, as well as the candied yams. Overall great food!
every time I’ve ordered here they’ve always came through with amazing food. Don’t be thrown off by the location; I’d still get it if it was double the price. I recommend the lemon pepper Buffalo tenders and the Mac and cheese is probably the best you’ll find at a soul food spot around here.

Superior Soul Food is exactly that. I first had it when I was visiting this past June, and I actually didn't even want soul food. But my sister wanted some, so we googled and found Superior and I'm so glad I relented! We both got wings, I had lemon pepper, she had Harold's mild sauce, and we had the Mac and cheese, rice and beans, greens and cornbread. Everything was delicious, well flavored, good portions and a good price. Easy online ordering and when you arrive they bring your order out to you. I've recently moved here and have already been back. Definitely a go to spot for a guaranteed great meal.
The food smelled so good on the drive home, it almost didn't make it! I was actually salivating. Delicious, well-seasoned, and clearly cooked with love. I'll be returning VERY SOON!

Was a little put off when I found out that it was out of someone's home but I went through and ordered it anyway and boy am I glad. This food is the real deal Soul Food. Mac and Cheese was on point and collard greens were seasoned to perfection. The Chicken had to be cooked by our ancestors because it was that good. I have found my new soul food spot. Great job!!
