Great fresh ingredients. Soft flavorful bread. Our absolute new go-to. My son loves it and talks on and on about it when we go. We call ahead for a pick up order and ask for the dressing on the side. Can't go wrong.

Very friendly staff, generous portions and worth the slightly higher price tag, attention to detail, delicious, will come back for sure. You can also buy cold cuts by the pound. The macaroni salad is a hit. Can't go wrong with any of the options, but the staff is always ready to make any sandwich customized to taste. A small family owned and operated sub shop that is a must try.
I'VE NEVER BEEN TO A BETTER SANDWICH / SUB / DELI RESTAURANT!Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful, which I enjoy. Since 1979, the company has been run by the same family. Sandwiches are my favorite food, so my perspective may be skewed, but I've tried a number of sandwich eateries in San Diego, and Submarina #2 in Tierrasanta is by far the best. I'm really fortunate because the trip only takes 5 minutes! I definitely suggest this establishment to everyone who appreciates well-made, excellent sandwiches.PS: My favorite is the #20 Roast Beef-Turkey-Cheese with everything on it (The Works).
Very nice people working. Subs were really good. You might pay a bit more but the meat is fresh cut, and that's what I like. Service with a smile

Woooooow, I can't believe this gem has been hidden just right around the corner from me. My fiance and I have been there 3x in a week since finding it and no we are not big on subs but this spot has got it going on! Great food portion for a great price and very friendly staff. Submarina 2 over subway all day.
