Definitely a fan of good pizza and search it out no matter where I go!The Square Pizza Co ? ? ? does not disappoint, in fact it’ll blow your freaking mind! At the top of pizza joints in San Diego for sure and may just be your Number One!If you’ve ever read one of my reviews you know I go on the Portnoy Scale.The People, The Place and The Pizza are all factored and this rad little gem of a spot in Pacific Beach deserves all of its 9.1
I LOVE this place. It’s my favorite pizza of all time and I mean it. I’ve never had better pizza than here and I’m pretty sure I never will. Staff is friendly and welcoming as well. My family comes down often to SD and we always set aside a day to come just for this place - and it’s always the best day of our trip. I like getting extra leftovers/frozen pizza because i’m such a huge fan of this pizza. We come to SD semi-annually and this place is the star of the show for us, and it’s in such a fun area to explore. Seriously, visit this place - if I lived closer I’d come as much as I physically could.
Deep dish pizza that was SO good! Bottom crust crispy, middle layer fluffy and the perfect amount of cheese and pepperoni on top.

i flat-out adore the cute, sweet girl who makes the cannolis here. they taste exactly like i remember from childhood in chicago, and no other place has compared in decades. especially appreciated her words as they were handed off to me tonight. ... goes to show, you never what someone else is going through & how a simple sentence can go a super long way. (lowkey hoping she sees this review.)dig the pizzas too. love how clean the place is, fresh the ingredients are & how everything is made to order. definitely homemade vibes all around. my fav to go slices are the dodge -- but i'm legit all abt the cannolis.
The BEST pizza in San Diego hands down! Delicious with flavors that don't disappoint and a crunchy and cheesy crust that will make you want to eat this all by yourself and not share a single slice. It's the only pizza place my family and I visit while in San Diego. Worth every mile driving down to enjoy this yummy pizza.
YUM!! I got one of the Sicilian slices and it was exactly as described by the super friendly staff member who helped me (didn’t catch her name but she is a lovely Brazilian woman)- Fluffy and light (as compared to the Detroit deep dish crust). It was perfectly filling for me and price was right! Both staff members I encountered were just so welcoming and genuine it was so refreshing!!
Walking down Garnet ave with Cass st we smell something wonderful, we look right and we saw this pizza place. The smells inside this place is unforgettable, smells fresh pizza coming out of the oven all the time. They have some seats outside enough for us to have a quick bite. The service was top , friendly staff and looks like they know what they are doing. We tried all their pizza. Thin crust they melt cheese when you order and it has a crispy crust, delicious. They have some hots and garlic powder to add flavor to it . Detroit thicker crust and that burnt cheese on the edges are the best. Sicilian thick crust melts in your mouth. Their take out is on time. Definitely coming back.
Simply incredible! Definitely the best place in San Diego for those who like and/or understand pizza. The attendants are friendly and attentive. Don't forget to try the Brazilian cheese bread with an impressive flavor and texture. I strongly recommend it!!
