Good place for take out and price is cheap
After having worked one week, we were happily chose Spicy House ( China Fun) to spend our weekend.We have two people so that we placed two orders, both are meat dishes. regrettably, the meat not only dry and tough, hard to chew, but also salty and oily. We only finished one dish and had to keep other one to be leftover. We paid cash plus tips, round to an integer.The lady waitress didn’t satisfied with the 14% tips, asked us to pay more because “they have to pay tax”. My husband had to pay an additional tip, but I had completely different opinions. Firstly, it is always customer’s right to decide how much tips to pay but not the waitress’s right; secondly they charge cash was because they don’t need to pay taxes, they shouldn’t use paying taxes as an excuse.Before leaving I decided to discuss this issue with the waitress, guess what did she say? She said if we don’t want to pay tips then we should order take-outs. Her logical is totally messed, it seems she doesn’t understand that to dine-in or to take-out is customer’s business but not her consideration. I against then she said “ if you cleaning your table before leaving then we will return your tips.”. If I was her manager I would fire her, not only because she doesn’t know how to respect customers but also lack of common sense., that to clean table is a part of her job, none business with tips. Tips is giving upon upon customers satisfaction, a better service win a higher tips.However, as a Chinese customer, Chinese is always know Chinese, I really in doubt if she simply just is a waitress, or she is the manager of restaurant?
Good quality. Thought I was going to China fun. Changed hands, menu. Ordered anyway. Not dissatisfied. Will return.
The best spicy food and very true traditional flavors. Tofu dried pot is my all time favorite and makes my heart feel full. I make an hour drive roundtrip just for this dish with no regrets. Always leave with a smile on my face and a full belly. So thankful for the amazing chefs and wonderful waitress serving quick delicious meals even when busy with take out orders. Cant wait to come back!
Awesome food, great service...been going there for years and even though there has been ownership changes and personnel changes, the food is still top notch.Their prices have gone up significantly so I may not go back as often as I used to but every once in a while.
