Had an amazing Death Cab For Karaoke night there

I bought tickets to see one of my favorite artists play and when I was arrived I was rudely turned away because I'm not 21. Sure it's a bar but I bought the tickets months ago so that I could see them and it said nothing about having to be 21. There should have been a system in place for people underage to not drink, IE: wrist bands and Xs across the hands.

Super great local spot for catching live shows. And if you tip good, the drinks are that much fuller!

A great small venue that has great ambiance and a nice layout. There is a stage for shows and a bar right in the middle. The drinks aren't overpriced and there is seating at the bar and also in booths on the sides of the venue.

Getting to see the *next big thing* close up is always amazing. Be there before celebrity sucks them up. Never doubt small venues and their foresight.

This small venue is one of my favorites in San Diego. Amazing local bands, international artists and even stand up comedy! Don't miss out on supporting a local, independent venue, they keep our local music scene going!

1. There is no parking. 2. Went to see a band and couldn't enter without a vax card. Id lose my job if I weren't vaxed but need the paperwork as proof in this dystopia

Parking is the worst part. It's a cool venue, depending on who you want to see. There's not a lot of space for a hardcore or metal show for all the moshing, and the stage is positioned a little weird for that. Other styles of music are great here though!I definitely have been here quite a few times as live music has come back. Seems like a lot of acts are booking SodaBar these days!

Great dive bar. I've seen countless amazing show here. Keep the PBRs coming!

Don't recommend anyone going to this bar, the bar owner wouldn't even let me go in without a 72 hour negative covid test. Horrible customer service.
