Bomb Lao style papaya salad! Reminds me of Hmong New Year papaya salad. Lao sausage was also very good. Sticky rice was 2 for $5. Their Thai boat noodle was good, but we’ve had better elsewhere. Will definitely come back for their papaya salad if we’re ever in the area and craving it. Just FYI, they serve cold bottled water (which you have to pay for).

The food was very authentic with excellent flavor. Despite the slightly seedy shopping area it's in, the interior is fine and the people are very nice. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the service was exceptionally slow (it took about 1.5 hours for lunch). I would be interested to go back to see if this improves

This place is an absolute hidden gem. Almost literally hidden, Keep an eye out for this restaurant tucked in a corner at market and 47th. Some of the best pad Thai I’ve ever had, and I make a point to sample pad Thai from all over the city. Look at this gorgeous plate!

Went to check out this Lao Restaurant, it was Saap Lai Lai. Will definitely eat here again!

Everything at so saap is good! Papaya salad, laap was awesome! I visited twice in a week as I live in another state. I will be back one day.

Our party got the Laos Famous Plate (ahhh sooo good), deep fried garlic spare ribs, and lemongrass grilled steak. Everything was super good and the servers were awesome. They don't mess around with the spice. Thank you!

Don’t judge from the outside! Super yummy locally owned, female owned spot with tasty food! Lemongrass tofu was delicious with perfectly prepared tofu (crisp outside, custard inside) but my boyfriend’s Pad Sek (i think… the wide, sweet noodles) were heavenly!! This veggie snagged more than a few from his plate! We’ll be back!

Never had but the people are very nice and the food smells good...I'm a grubhub driver so can't always enjoy...BTW they have real literal sugarcane plant and some extraction machine for the juices...looks delicious I wanna try so bad

The pad Thai is one big chewy clump and tastes like it was flavored with nothing but fish oil. The curry is thin like water. The prices are 20-30% higher than our favorite Thai restaurant (Banh Thai). This was a mistake.

If you’re new to this area don’t be scared. This restaurant is a small cozy mom & pop kind of place. There’s was 8 of us and the girl out front help us rearrange the table to accommodate our party. The food was amazing!!!!!!!We ordered:- Pad thai (the noodle is so good, remind me of Thailand)- Nam Kao (my fav)- Tom Yum Shrimp- Waterfall steak salad (Nam tok)- Laos sausages- sticky rice- fried spare ribs?- Lemon Grass chickenDrinks:-Green Thai tea (amazing)- Coco-cane (amazing)- Thai teaEverything was so delicious!!! Will definitely go back for more.
