Great food and drinks. Their pumpkin dipping sauce with the sweet potato fries is phenomenal. Service was quick and spot on with our orders. We've been to San Diego three times and have been to Slaters on every trip now.
1st time in the San Diego area and was told to try out this restaurant. So many different choices of hamburgers to choose from. The burgers were good and the service was fast and friendly. The onion rings were good and the wings were okay. Overall every thing was good.
Bacon. Burgers. Beer. Booze.Definitely a place to enjoy bacon, burgers, beer, and booze. The burgers do not disappoint. However, you must be patient, as burgers here are huge (1/3, 2/3, 1 pound) after cooking take a while to cook.This is not fast food. It is gourmet food, so set your expectations accordingly.
I had a good afternoon lunch your it was my first time at later 50/50 lots of outdoor seating plenty of burger options lots of salad options. I had the best damn cheeseburger. And onion rings. They had $4 beers on special. We enjoyed our conversation and our meal. Good vibe pretty good burger. I will be back some other time
Dry food. Overpriced. The cheese dish in particular was served in a very stale roll with not enough cheese to even use the pita chips. I think it was $12. To be honest we should have returned it.
Go somewhere else! Terrible! Burger was not hot cheese wasn't even melted and mozzarella sticks were cold. The bun was stale and crumbly. Fries were cold and not cooked. Long wait to be seated, an hour when told 20 to 30 minutes. Long wait for food, another hour. Under staffed and the restaurant was only half full. Beer was poured and sat at bar for 15-20 minutes before being brought to table. Very bad experience would not recommend at all. The server was very nice but she lacked the support she needed. Does this restaurant have a manager? I now know how Karen's feel!
Great place to have a real hamburguer, got the 50/50 and I really loved it, an extra point cause you can have a draught Guinness. Also you can be seated outdoors which is good in Covid times. A must if you are onto the Liberty public market area.
Located in a neat area, Liberty Station, great patio seating w radiant heaters. Great menu, good beer selections, great service, fairly priced and we would absolutely come back
Great customer service all around. Excellent food options. I loved the grilled flavor in the burgers and the fried sweet potato, but my husband didn’t like the Parmesan fried potato because it was too cheesy and I also wished they had more options in the cocktail menu, but overall it was a great experience, I’d def go back to try more burgers!
Great overall experience @ Slater's!We arrived exhausted after a long flight.Being Saturday evening, they were really busy (45 minute wait time) so we opted for the bar where Joanna (mgr) could seat us. The bartender, Kohl, came up shortly with our drinks and took our food order in the middle of a crazy busy night. He waited on us like we were the only customers there in the middle of what seemed like chaos to me. The food was great and served exactly as ordered (her burger med and mine rare). We had Kohl write down his recipe for my wife's social butterfly drink. Watching the rest of the staff work was impressive. Everyone was moving 90 mph through the rush and still managed to be friendly and actually seemed like they liked working there. I'm old school, in that I have an expectation for great service & food. These guys met that expectation.Thanks to Joanna, Kohl, and Jess for helping a long, tiring day end on a really great note!
