The food is always excellent here from appetizers to main dishes to the wonderful cakes baked right on the premises. The coconut cream cake is to die for! The ube cake is also extra delicious.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that this is one of the best vegan Chinese restaurants I’ve been to in California!! The texture of with their “chicken” is amazing. And even though the bites are very filling, they give you a generous portion. I always end up taking some home with me, and I can put away some food lol.They also have a very impressive array of desserts, so make sure to save room for that too. Definitely will be coming back whenever I’m in San Diego!!
Coming from the Midwest, the dry and thirsty land of all things vegan food, this place was incredible! I had the vegan shrimp with the Drunken Noodles entre and they knocked it out the park! General T’so chicken was fantastic too. I can’t say enough about the quality, freshness, and flavor. Mr. Win, the owner, took our order and was courteous and very pleasant to deal with. We are def recommending this place and coming back every time we are in La Jolla. This restaurant lives up to the name of its town, it is a gem. Thank you to the whole staff.
Soo delicious!!! As a long time vegetarian I was so glad to have the opportunity to try out this restaurant on my trip to San Diego! The staff is amazing! The food is great! The decor could use a bit of work but they had just opened for dine in not too long ago. The portions are on the larger side and the prices are amazing!
Their food is always delicious, but the best thing at all Sipz locations are their vegan desserts! My favorites are the brownies and the coconut cake. I love that they also have some ube and pandan flavored specialties.
Serving burnt food to me during Christmas is a pass in future. What were they trying to accomplish with these seeming refried left overs? So disappointed and so expensive to be sub standard. I feel taken as they also served me rice noodle wraps with old stale and hardened rice inside with no flavor. I eat vegan and Asian almost daily and have never had worse food. Sad. They are not fully customer service friendly but they are quick with responses. No one has checked to see if I am okay and staff is not washing their hands between bussing tables and serving freshly made dishes. Pass!
Sipz Vegetarian Fusion Café in Clairemont is DELICIOUS! And ALL vegetarian! That’s right none of this is meat!! BBQ Chicken Appetizer and Tangy Orange Protein: "Chicken" Spice Level: Not Spicy (I forgot to take pictures before starting to eat sooo they give you more than what’s in the photos ?) You can even customize which type of protein you want and spice level so you get what you really want! And it is SO yummy!! I haven’t had Chinese in SO long!! ❤️
I've been here for years and the food quality just gets better. The pandemic was hard on them but they treated their customers well. This meat-loving customer remains loyal.
Sooooo delicious! Can't believe I hadn't been before! I had the Nuts About Veggies dish and the peanut sauce was really good. The vegan chocolate cake was also really good and my kids liked their vegan sushi made with brown rice.
Use to be my place to go. It has changed so much in the wrong direction. They increased their prices by 50% since Covid. They got rid of their servers to save money, so you have to order at the counter. Good food, but not worth it anymore. Too expensive
