if i were from louisiana or mississippi, which i am not , i might be more judgmental ; therefore, i love this place! flavorful! nice service! we did #2 spice level and thought it was about right. next time, we'll try #3 to be adventurous. as you can see , we ate every last bite !!

The (Shrimp Head) boil was great! The mussels and King Crab were, by far, the best tasting with the sausage and shrimp right behind that. The King Crab is a bit pricey at $62/lb, and you can’t get 1/2lbs worth, but is totally worth it and a must with any boil!Beers were affordable and the service was amazing!Only thing I can say is I’ve been to other boil restaurants where the interior and atmosphere was a bit more lively, this one is kinda blah.P.S. make sure to park at the restaurant and not in the plaza on the other side, you will get towed!-compliments of the server. Figure I’d pass it along.

The first crab leg was great the second had literally nothing in it and all we wanted was a small leg as compensation or something.Instead they take the crab legs away for like 7 minutes and then come back at tell us they checked the security cameras and basically implied we were lying. If they had really checked they would have saw that we opened it and called the waitress right away to alert her.I do wanna say though the waitress was super kind and I feel bad for her having to deliver the news. But her boss is so rude, all we wanted were crab leg and that was pretty much a scam so… yeah.

Spent my birthday this year here (July 2) because crab is my favorite and I wanted crab from a place that had some of the flavors of where I come from (South Carolina). I love the casual small business vibes of a local seafood diner in the South. A lot of the seafood out here is the same flavor (no flavor) and doesn't use the Cajun or Creole culinary style that Southern seafood joints do. I love my California and really wanted a taste of home in the place I now call home. This place did not disappoint! Was happy to see their menu had Cajun fries, fried okra, fried catfish, mussels, clams, crawfish, Cajun crab legs!! And more. But I order the crab legs with the "house sauce" that had my beloved Cajun flavor in. It was finger lickin good! Loved their version of Cajun! The okra was even better than the Cajun fries but boy was I happy to have some Cajun fries too. That okra had a perfect crust, perfect flavor, and the sauce was perfect too! The crab legs couldn't have been any better unless maybe I ordered the King Crab but I was just as happy with the usual Snow Crab legs. Crab legs are crab legs! But I have gotten tired of San Diego restaurants that don't offer some Cajun or Southern seafood vibes. The vibes in this place were so friendly. There was a regular in there enjoying their ghost pepper hot crab legs. I'll definitely be going back too. The spice level we ordered was just a step below the hottest one. It was enough to enjoy the flavor with a kick good enough to open the sinuses a bit too. The fried catfish was great! Not something I've seen in a lot of restaurants out here. Wayne was a terrific host. He checked on us regularly without being excessive. I appreciated his hospitality. He was very kind and professional. The kitchen crew did a spectacular job and made me want to eat there again! So happy we found this place! Very cute decor as well. The only thing that could’ve made it better is if I could’ve gotten a seafood boil that included the Cajun crab legs, mussels, clams, potatoes, corn, and shrimp!!

?????? shared a shrimp and lobster boil with potatoes, corn, and garlic bread and it was amazing. Also tried the thai tea with ice cream! BOMB! I was almost discouraged from the outside exterior, but I'm glad I didn't judge a book by its cover! Interior was fresh, beach themed and I will definitely visit again when I come to SD.

Wish I would have taken pictures but it was just so good we forgot, food was amazing. First time at a seafood boil place and did not disappoint! Prices are fair for the delicious seafood, also it was cleaned correctly. Customer service was excellent, our server kept checking on us to make sure everything was good and to see if we needed anything. Atmosphere is cute and clean. Will definitely be bringing everyone I know here.

Great experience with Weezy at Shrimp Heads on Cajon Blvd in San Diego. The atmosphere was calming to me after a long work day and travel from out of town. It was nice to have such amazing food. I encourage everyone to visit!

Great food and great service. Love it here

We ordered build your own , it was amazing‼️? The sauces were sooo good ? And who knew Oreos got fried ⁉️ We will visit again?

Food was great. Crab legs looked clean as well as the shrimp, clams and lobster tails. Had plenty of options to customize your order. House seasoning was a touch on the salty side. Service was great.
