We wanted to find a place to eat that didn't have an 1.5 wait on a Friday night in Mira Mesa. This was close to us and we ended up seeing the meats on the menu and decided to give it a try. I think this restaurant has fallen prey to the worker shortage problem. That being said I think it is a family run business and they did try their best so something to think about when dining. I have to say their side dishes were very tasty and some came as a surprise like a sweet marinated cauliflower. Their Steamed egg had great flavor and the dipping sauce for the meat was definitely yummy. I was pleased with the selection of meets as I always try to find jowls and good tasting intestine when I fo kbbq. Kind of sick of bulgogi now a days but I will say this is probably one of the best tasting bulgogi I've had in a while, naturally sweet from the Asian pear in the marinade and not full of sugars. Other than waiting an hour for a water refill and more banchan it was a pretty good meal! I am definitely going to be back.
I ate a delicious meal while I watched a table with two Korean women pulling the heads off a giant pile of 20,000 bean sprouts, one sprout at a time. That's true dedication to the craft. I love this place.
My party had a reservation prior so when we arrived, we were seated the next open table which was pretty quick. It took a while to get our order taken, but when we did get our orders taken our food was quick to arrive at the table. Food was good. They had a lot of options.
This was our first time visiting and the wait staff was great, it felt like eating out in South Korea with some of the authentic soups and meat dishes. Definitely will be back ?
The white tofu was delish but everything else is meh from the side dishes to the kalbi. It is a mom and pop shop that tries super hard but unfortunately misses the mark. The bathrooms were clean.
It's ok. Better than some of the Korean BBQ restaurants in San Diego but the quality of meat isn't so good

This is my favorite place and I love it so much. I cannot stress this enough. Be patient, they are understaffed like every other place, but it is worth it. Everything you eat will be delicious!!!
