So many delicious options ? , fast and friendly service

My wife and I had brunch here on Friday June 3rd. It was our first time to visit La Jolla Shores, and to visit the Shorehouse Kitchen. It just seemed appropriate to eat here before walking the shoreline, and we were not disappointed. We sat in their back patio area, which I highly recommend for a more intimate dining experience. Our server, Lauren B., took great care of us. My wife had the egg breakfast and I had the Monterey Omelette. Our food and coffee (Honey Breve and house coffee) was delicious. The memory of this visit will linger on for many years. Love this place and can’t wait to visit again sometime soon.

The wait was not horrible for a Sunday morning. There are shops nearby you can wander in for the duration of wait. They will send you a text when your table is ready. My family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the staff was wonderful! The food was great, but when you have staff who are remarkable, you have a winning experience.I would caution the patio out back, there are birds and they love to sit on the wires and the roof, I was scared I was going to get bird droppings on me and my food! All together a great place near the beach and shopping!

This place was on my list to check out and I finally got to eat here for the first time. I got the mango and granola pancakes with scrambled eggs and brioche toast. Overall the pancakes were good but the guava sauce on top gave it an interesting taste. I finished it, but I probably won't get this again next time. I'll try something else on the menu next time.

Awesome breakfast spot in LaJolla. Food, service and atmosphere are all excellent. The Monterey Omelette was delicious. Nice relaxed atmosphere usually a long wait but if you check in on line it speeds things up.

Waiting to get seated = 45 minutes, plus waiting to get served after ordering + another 35 minutes and by then, I was seriously hungry. Yes, the smoked salmon on bagel was very good, but nothing special, and my friend’s brioche sandwich with home fries needed salt and catsup to perk up the interest. So the meal was fine but not outstanding while the wait was outstanding. I liked the place but it was packed with people and I don’t quite see what accounts for its success.

Its been a while since I saw such a large breakfast menu. Everything we ordered was really good and taste.

Maple Chicken Sandwich is veey nice!

The food service was excellent, just the food was rather mediocre. Small portions. Place was noisy, not good for a date unless you want to be yelling at each other.

Delicious breakfast options at a great location central to La jolla shores. Sweet and salty breakfast options. One biiiig minus point: the glasses were crazy dirty: lipstick, fingerprints, grease. Pretty nasty!!
